Yeah, the first one was made on the character creator tool. It wasn't the default skin tone, but I wanted to make it a bit darker at least.

This seems like the most likely option to me, to be honest. They're not very different, if at all, from their heroes variants design-wise. It'd just be giving them a kind of ghost-like form, and that doesn't seem like enough to consider making an alt out of it.
