So I'm 99% sure that I've figured out the issue, and have got the Beta 4 patch working. The problem was that there is an NTSC and PAL version of the ROMs getting around out there. From what I can see, this patch won't work with the NTSC version, but it'll work perfectly fine with the PAL version of the ROM. That's that mystery!

Thank you for reaching out. I tried patching the a fresh raw Japanese ROM at first and just tried it again, but still no luck. I have no idea where I'm going wrong, I've patched all the other Fire Emblem games OK, but this last one giving me a rumble. I really do appreciate the help

Hello, I was hoping someone might know what might be the problem I'm getting. FCEUX and Mesen won't boot the translated ROM at all. - I got a clean Japanese ROM. - Translated the clean ROM with Quirino's original translation (this boots fine). - Then I patch the translated ROM with the Beta 4 translation. But when I go to boot the new ROM, it just fails to do so. I'm wondering if I'm missing a step, or if anyone else has had the same problem. Any help is greatly appreciated! 😄
