Enter the amazing Guy!! (...wrong game) I actually never used Guy much in my playthroughs. I'd always try, but for some reason his Strength always ended up useless for me.

Oh hey, I didn't know that! That's super interesting. Thanks for telling me about that. Man, that's one of the things I love about Hector mode - so many hidden gems of conversations and little scenes throughout the entire route. I totally agree with you about Hector. He's just a fantastically written character. Here's Oswin! As great of a character as he is, I actually don't use him often. I'm not crazy about the Knight class because I have a NEED for SPEED.

I want to maybe turn some of them into enamel pins in the future, and the weapons tend to be too narrow or too much like sharp, sticky-out bits to pin very well. So I decided just to not draw anyone's weapons. Also makes them easier to draw, frankly. Also, not giving Marcus EXP doesn't mean not letting him see any action - early in the game I always strip him of his weapon and let him function as a meat shield or lure. Now for my favorite character of all time: Hector!

It's a bad idea to do that at early in the game because it takes EXP away from lower-leveled units who need it much more. Also, Jeigans historically turn out to be poor units (although since FE8 that's been the case less often). Marcus certainly did. Here's Bartre, who turned out surprisingly cute:

Lowen! Somewhat underrated in my opinion. If the RNG gives him a bit of a Speed blessing, he's useful; he's tankier than the other two young Cavalier options.

Here's Marcus. I will forever resent him as the character who ruined my very first Fire Emblem playthrough attempt in middle school. (I didn't realize you weren't supposed to feed the Jeigan exp.)

Hi everyone! I've lurked on Serenes Forest for a long time now - since, I believe, before Radiant Dawn came out. I've finally decided to dip my toes into actually participating in the community! My favorite FE games are Binding Blade, Sword of Flame, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn. Elibe and Tellius will always have the warmest place in my heart. Anyone else here Tellus/Elibe fans?
