  1. I don't really see what the problem is. Women and men are different, and trying to whitewash those differences is stunting their potential for development. You're basically saying that you want women to be held up to men's standards, rather than creating their own that fit their own strengths and shortcomings.
  2. Seriously. I never expected one character to cause so much vitriol in people who haven't even played the game. inb4 I'm called a pedo again for daring to not find her offensive.
  3. Once again, courtesy of a kindly anon. [spoiler=FeMU x Inverse] [spoiler=C Support]Inverse: ...Then that's all for now, Krom. If anything else happens, I'll be sure to report to you. MU: ...? That's Inverse...? What was she doing in Krom's tent? ...Um, Inverse!? Inverse: My my~! If it isn't the former tactician. What do you need from me? MU: F-former tactician...? Wha-what are you saying!? Inverse: Exactly what I meant. Thank you for all your hard work up to now. From here, I will be the tactician that supports Krom. You can just sit by the sidelines and slowly drink tea. MU: D-don't decide that on your own! I was the tactician before, and I will also continue as the tactician now! Inverse: Fufu...that is not something you can decide...Krom and the troops will also be happier if the one with more talent becomes the tactician. MU: W-who ever said that you were the one with more talent? Inverse: I can easily tell you why...When we were still enemies, weren't you all utterly outsmarted by me? MU: ...! B-but, if you want to put it that way, the ones who won in the end were us! Inverse: That is not due to your talents, but Krom's. If I become the tactician, I will make Krom feel much more comfortable. MU: Even if you give me proper explanations, I still won't approve of you! As the long time tactician of this army, I have confidence in my abilities! Inverse: Fufu...that's what I thought you would say. I didn't think you would just hand over the position to me either. However...ufufufu! This may be a good thing! Before long, I'll snatch the seat of the tactician away from you! I'll be looking forward to you washing my neck! Ohohoho!! MU:W-what a wicked way of speaking...! F-fine! Come at me anytime! I definitely won't lose to you! [spoiler=B Support]Inverse: Krom? ...Where is he? ...How strange. I thought he would be around here... MU: ...Oh my, Inverse. Do you need something from Krom? If you want to leave a message, you can just talk to me, the current tactician. Inverse: ...You sure like to stick your nose where it doesn't belong, Ms. former tactician. Don't you know women have business with men? As his new tactician, I have to be more intimidate with Krom. MU: W-what nonsense are you blabbering! Jeez,...I can't give the tactician position to such an insincere person! Inverse: My, but I am serious when it comes to my job. ...Though, Krom is also a man. As we're working together, the both of us will gradually fall for each other...and so on. MU: W-what are you saying! But you're an aunt that's older than Krom by a decade! Inverse: Guh...I see you're bringing age into this now...! However, it's not a decade! Only 8 years older! MU: That's basically the same thing! Inverse:T-those are some dangerous words, little girl! If you wanted to that badly, why not settle this right here and now...? MU: Fine! I'll show you my talents! ...is what I want to say, but as tacticians, we must act as examples and restrain ourselves from going too far with our issues...It look likes you weren't even aware of that! Inverse: You already went too far by questioning a woman's tender age! Fine, if you won't settle this, then I will. ...Let's have a duel, MU. MU: A-a duel!? Are we really going to decide on the tactician based on that? inverse: There is only one seat for the real tactician. I'll tell you the details after sunset. I look forward to you washing my neck...! MU: W-wait a minute! ...Ah, she already went off. [spoiler=A Support]Inverse: How brave of you to come to this dueling ground without running away, little girl. Ufufufufu... MU: It's as if you are my enemy all over again, Inverse...But, I definitely won't lose! Inverse: There is only the two of us here. Let's fight each other fair and square with our own power! MU: Yes! Come! ...Hey, hold on a second. Don't you feel the presence of others around here...wasn't it just us? Inverse: D-don't tell me you...just to defeat me you set up an ambush? MU: Don't talk badly of others! I'm not like you! inverse: ...So that means, this killing intent surrounding us are from enemy soldiers? MU: That means this is a battlefield! For now, let's work together and return to our allies! Come on, hurry! Run, Inverse! Inverse: ...It can't be helped. Let's call it a truce for now... MU: ...Huff, huff. It should be safe now. Looks like the enemy isn't chasing us anymore. Inverse: ...Making me run like this...huff,huff. MU: ...Anyways, you're pretty good, Inverse! If you didn't set up those traps, we would have been captured by the enemies now. ...Though, wasn't it you that said "fight fair and square"? Inverse: ...Even if you say that, you were the one that prepared an escape route. Trying to guarantee your safety...What an unfair woman. MU: But if we didn't have that route, we would have barely escaped. And that's nothing compared to that cowardly last resort you planned to use for this! Inverse: Fufu...that's true...Thanks to you we're safe. MU: No, you as well. If we weren't together, it would have been very dangerous. Inverse: Ufufu...I might be able to get along with you more than I though. ...For the time being, why don't you show me what you're made of? MU: I also think the same way, I'll let you help out a bit with the tactician duties. Two is better than one, and we might think up of new strategies! Inverse: ...I understand. But don't underestimate me. If you're too careless, I might just assassinate you in your sleep. MU: Well, I think I'll have a challenge with a rival tactician. I look forward to working with you, Inverse.
  4. Might want to hold off on the honeymoon. The supports are up on the JP site and it looks like Inverse tries to usurp FeMU's place as tactician, so they spend the whole time getting into cat fights. Being FeMU is suffering.
  5. I sort of figured it would've been posted while I was still stumbling with spoiler tags, but you guys are slow, so whatever. Reminder that I didn't translate this, a kindly anon did. [spoiler=MaleMU x Inverse] [spoiler=C Support]MU: Aun...Inverse. Inverse: What did you say just now? MU: Um...nothing...Liz' way of speaking seems to be spreading. Inverse: What are you mumbling about? ...MU, what did you come here for? ...Surveillance? So, in the end you still think I'm suspicious? MU: That's not the reason but...I'm just a bit curious about how you are doing. Inverse: Isn't that the same thing? MU: It's not. For one, if I were to doubt you, one of our comrades now, Krom probably wouldn't forgive me. Inverse: Well, I wonder if he would? MU: ...Inverse. Everyone's eating right now, why don't you join us? Inverse: Fufu, what a strange request. Do you not understand? Since I was always your enemy, there's bound to be people that aren't comfortable around me! I simply can't do that! MU: But...won't it be better if you were just a little friendlier? Inverse: ...Sorry, but I'll refuse that option. MU: I, I see... Inverse: ...Jeez, is that all? I'll be leaving then... MU: Ah...Yes. [spoiler=B Support]MU: Aunt...I-I mean Inverse. Inverse: What did you just call me? MU: U-um, nothing... Inverse: What is it this time? MU: No erm, I thought you would be by yourself again. Inverse: Whaat? Did you come to preach about friendliness again? MU: I think it's better to be with the group, at least when it's time to sleep. Inverse: Oh ho-. So you were thinking something like, "This may be a chance to strike." !? MU: I-I would never do that! It's obvious to care about your comrades! Inverse: Hmm, what a gentleman. Are you really Lord Fauder's child? MU: This has nothing to do with that! Inverse: ...Ah, I noticed at mentioning Lord Fauder, but aren't we siblings? MU: What? Inverse: Who's the older one? The one born earlier...Well, that's me but I was adopted in the middle...then let's go with you as the older brother! MU: What!? Normally it's the other way around! Inverse: I'm the younger sister, and you're the Big bro! MU: Sigh...do whatever you want! When it's time to sleep, come back to where everyone else are! Inverse: Then Big bro would protect me from the others~! MU: I won't! Inverse: Noo! Big bro's a meanie! So scary! MU: ...You really alright by yourself after all. Inverse: Ufufu, Big bro, don't leave me~! [spoiler=A Support]MU: Auntie...Inverse. Inverse. Inverse: You finally didn't hesitate, and called me Auntie. That's alright. You don't need to fix it. ...By the way, what do you want Big bro? MU: You stop calling me Big bro as well! Inverse: It's fine when we're alone. Whaat? Are you planning on talking about friendship again? I told you before, but there's very few people that actually trust me. MU: T-that's... Inverse: ... MU: ...? What's the matter? Inverse: ...What exactly am I? I was deceived by Lord Fauder, and now I'm siding with my former enemies. ...It's just nonsensical. MU: ...Inverse is probably Inverse. Inverse: ...Eh? MU: I'm the same. My blood relations, my memories....there are so many things I don't know and many things I cannot choose to do. But... I have comrades here who recognize me as...me. So, they would definitely recognize Inverse as well. Not as a former enemy or as an underling of Fauder,,,but as just Inverse. So, it's alright to throw away your past. Inverse: ...Hm. It'll be great if that happened. MU: Does that...resolve some of your worries? Inverse: Oh my. You noticed? MU: Of course I would, I'll always watching you! Inverse: I see...surveillance might not be that bad after all. [spoiler=S Support]MU: Huh? Inverse, what are you doing? Inverse: Just checking the weapons that just came in, and our food supply. MU: Eh, that much? Inverse: What? Is it bad that I'm the one doing it? ...I may not be friendly, but I want to be a little useful. MU: Inverse... Inverse: Ufufu...though. Recently, I'm trying to bring out my inner camaraderie. I think I'm glad to be greeted by others, maybe I can form some kind of compromise. MU: I-I see...! Inverse: And I also have a sibling as well, an older brother that has the same father as me. MU: Y-you're still going on with that! Inverse: It's alright~ Big bro! MU: S-stop that already! Inverse: But...It'll be better if we weren't siblings. Since I'm a bit interested in MU. ...Since way before. MU: Eh? Inverse: As Lord Fauder's son, you were like my Big bro...I thought it would be nice to have a sibling like that. Of course, I also had envious and hostile feelings about you...but now I'm interested in you in another way. I'm slowly beginning to understand what it is...so that's why I thought it would be better if we weren't siblings. MU: Eh? So, what do you mean? Inverse: Can you cut that out already? MU: Eh, t-then...? ...Inverse, if you are alright with it, would you like to support Krom together with me? Inverse: Eh? I-s this that? A proposal? MU: ...What!!? How could you interpret it as that? Inverse: No, that was definitely a proposal. It can't be anything else. Alright, it's over! Now ends the brother and sister play. We're not connected by blood, so now we're officially lovers! MU: What, whaaat!!? Inverse: I'll do my best for my lover. I'll even start being friendly with the others for you! MU: ... Inverse: Ah, thank goodness...I never thought I would have such a wonderful future waiting for me... MU: T-that's a r-relief... Inverse: MU, let's make our future bright! MU: ...Well, alright. I don't think that's bad at all. Maybe we'll get along relatively well with each other. Inverse: ...Ufufu, that's right. Inverse: From now, I will offer myself to you. Though I may not look it, I'm quite a devoted person.
  6. That was fast, /feg/'s already translated MaleMU x Inverse. Turns out she's a lovely girl and you're all going to feel bad for calling her names.
  7. 1. Rescue has been replaced by Double, it serves all the same essential functions and then some. 2. The DLC characters and their teams have some dialogue during their recruitment map, sometimes even with your own units. 3. Support points are gained when units enter into battle while eligible for Dual or Double. They don't necessarily have to participate in an dual attack though.
  8. Those damn faces are the exact opposite of spontaneous "wit". Moe is not a single definable archetype, but rather a collection of qualities that a character exhibits to make them appealing in some way. Tsundere is a moe quality itself.
  9. Well, he sort of plays it off as hating women, since he finds that slightly more respectable than admitting he's scared of girls. It was brought up in the 4chan thread but for those of you who didn't quite catch it, this confirms that that "Velvet's husband isn't Chambray's father" thing was just a translation error. I guess someone mistakenly took that little "You're not my real father" exchange literally, when they really just meant time travel shenanigans.
  10. I was talking about Steam's sales, and the huge amount of awareness they provide games that people would otherwise pass up as being not worth the full pricetag. Games are, in general, overpriced. Everyone knows this, many developers have come out and stated that retail price should be lowered, as well as the benefits of doing so, but no one has taken the initiative to actually do so to reach a broader market. I'm just getting really tired of watching the games industry constantly shoot itself in the foot with every attempt to push digital distribution.
  11. [spoiler=Ending split]Depends, really. The Krom ending is unambiguously positive, while the MU ending is bittersweet. The former ends on a high note where Krom and MU bro it up and are confident that the world they create will be able to repel Gimle if he ever does return (and that's a pretty big if, considering the level of shenanigans that were required to revive him in the first place), while the latter has everyone grieving right up until post-credits, where you get a short, context-less scene where MU appears to come back, only this time without Gimle's mark. Personally, I think they should've kept MU dead in that scenario. Would've made for a pretty heavy decision, considering how many people want to simultaneously self-insert as the big hero while also getting with their FE waifu/husbando.
  12. It and MU x Flavia were translated recently by an anon on /feg/. Someone will probably post it in the support thread before long.
  13. Exactly. Digital distribution is much more widespread on the PC because they have the proper means to support it. Services like Steam and other online aggregators have shown that people are more than willing to give up their precious manuals and DVD cases for the convenience of having all their games neatly at their fingertips. As long as they have an internet connection. Console gaming seems to fall flat on it's face with nearly every attempt at this, though. And while it's not a perfect comparison, I really do think the ridiculous popularity of Steam's sales is proof that lower game prices would go a long way towards helping games become more widespread, which means more games for the individual and more sales for the companies. Of course, that's assuming there's an audience waiting for those extra games; the anime industry's a good example of what happens when there's no market left to expand into.
  14. No Krombey, go away. Being MU is suffering enough. [spoiler=Ending]Thinking about it, the fact that Gimle's fate is left up to the player means they're not likely to actually continue this timeline, huh? Unless they just ignore him in any sequel, I guess. Evil dragons always threaten to come back, but they never do.
  15. Because it would be incredibly profitable? Everyone prefers their packaging, which is why no one will buy a game digitally for the same price as a physical copy. But again, digital distribution has a lot of potential for easing acquisition for the customer, and maximizing profits for the developer, but no one's attempting to explore that potential for fear of upsetting the status quo. Many well-known developers have come out admitting that the standard retail price for a single game is too expensive, and that lower costs all around would result in a much more stable industry, but ultimately no one's followed through on this. Nintendo could've pioneered this, but they can't even figure out how to price their smaller things correctly. I'm not even sure what you're trying to say, but I'm not talking about undercutting retailers, I'm talking about not making a digital copy cost more than a physical one. All publishers have been guilty of this, it's like they're actively trying to get you to buy your games used and discounted, but Nintendo just doesn't know how to price their digital media correctly; their Wii and 3DS eShops are all too overpriced for them to catch on, and the same is going to happen here. They're just constantly passing up opportunities.
