Definitely down to do a draft, I've been looking for one for ages!

There wont be any need of im using 3 units. Plenty of exp to go around.

Rogue Colm and Ranger Neimi sounds like a good combo but it kinda lacks survivability... And the only mages who support with either of them are Moulder or Artur :/

The 3 trainees? I imagine that would be far too easy once they promote. Berserker/General/Sage would make the end game a bit to easy.

Im looking for actual combinations, not just characters. I like Marisa. I never usually used her but in my last playthough I used her as an assassin and she outperformed joshusa and colm.

Goodevening everyone! I want to do a playthrough on Hard mode only using a handful of characters (2-4). If you guys coulld be help me out with choosing some combinations I would appreciate it. :) I though of something like Marisa, Joshua and Gerik but I think that would be a bit too easy since Josh and Gerik are monsters and Marisa is very good in her own right.

Apologies for triple post. This is my progress so far, up until Chapter 5. Prologue This was pretty standard. Smacked the first bandit, healed and then foolishly attacked the boss on my turn and he hit me... I was so worried I would have to restart on the first map Luckily, Lyn dodged and then I finished him off. Lyn's level gains were Health, Speed, Luck, Defense and Resistance Chapter 1 Nothing special this level, Kent stripped off his gear in favour of his womanising partner. Lyn's level gains were Skill and Defense Sain's level gains were Health, Strength and Resistance Chapter 2 Sain solo'd most of this map. Let Lyn get a kill to get her to level. The bugger Glass obviously had the gods on his side since he dodged my lance weilding Sain 3 times in a row Lyn's level gains were Health, Skill and Luck Sain's first level gains were Strength, Skill and Defense Sain's second level gains were Health and Strength Chapter 3 Florina flew up and got the sweet money from the village before it could get trampled. All the archers and mercanaries were dealing no damage to Sain, which made me happy. RNG gods were a bit nasty to me here and let a bandit hit Lyn at 15% and Sain only got a single stat up on his second level Lyn's level gains were Skill, Speed and Luck Sain's first level gains were Health, Strength, Luck and Resistance Sain's second level gains was Health... Only Health! Chapter 4 Started off badly, Dorkas hit Lyn with his hand axe at 30% on the first go! Followed by some incredible idiocy from me as I let Florina get hit for 10 by the archer on the left. So I moved her... Too a place were he could still hit her. Facepalm. Thankfully the RNG gods shined on me this map. She survived, Sain got 2 criticals at 2% chance and got 2 almost perfect level ups! Sain's first level gains were Health, Strength, Skill, Luck, Defense and Resistance. Sain's second level gains was Health and Speed Lyn's level gains were Health, Strength, Skill, Speed, Luck and Defense Stats so far Lyn Lv. 6 18 kills / 0 deaths 19 HP 5 STR 11 SKL 12 SPD 9 LCK 5 DEF 1 RES Sain Lv. 8 21 kills / 0 deaths 25 HP 13 STR 6 SKL 7 SPD 6 LCK 8 DEF 3 RES

I quite like Serra and Rebecca, but i'd rather have a Pegasus Knight for a bit more oomph.

Very interesting line up. 3(4 if you count Lyn) swordmasters and 3 mages.... yay! Problems I foresee? Only 2 of my units have good defense so there may be some restarts required, especially early on. No bow user makes me sad. I do like Wil and Rebecca. Rath? Not so much. Not much control over the weapon triangle considering 4 units are locked to swords and 2 are locked to a weapon and bow. No staff user till someone promotes. Other than that I think this should be fun. I'll try and blast through Lyn mode tonight. :) Thanks everyone. Except the people who chose Erk and Karel :)

I'm actually looking forward to it if I am honest. I usually go for early game, unpromoted units.

Greetings everyone. After a long period of not playing FE I decided to go for another run of it the other day and discovered that my save data had corrupted Just completed an ENM and now going to do a HNM and I wanted a little variation and challenge. It will be LHM -> HNM 1. Hector (Obviously) 2. Erk (I do hate you for this, I have never liked Erk) 3. Lyn 4. Karla (sigh) 5. Lucius 6. Guy (Essentially 3 swordmasters? Thanks people) 7. Karel (I hate you all) 8. Bartre (Thank you chococoke, I was starting to worry how I was going to recruit Karla) 9. Sain 10. Fiora (I love you, Pegs are *usually* amazing for me) 11. Jaffar 12. Canas No arena abuse. I probably will try and get Nils to level 7 in Lyn mode too.
