I'm about to start my first playthrough of this game in my quest to beat all FE games on all routes. I know I need all legendary weapons by the end of the game to get more chapters. What are things I need to pay attention to in order to get all of them? i.e. Are any of them easy to miss?

It finally worked out by one-shotting pallardo with Falling Star, warping Marianne, dancing, and doing it again. Keeping Byleth alive that long was definitely the biggest problem, as she couldn't stay in the initial 2x3, so I had to let her run along with the 3 fliers at the bottom, hanging on for dear life using nosferatu on enemy phase. It really felt like the scene in POTC where Jack desperately outruns a small army :)). If anyone else but Marianne had been my dancer, this would have been a whole other story xd

I didn't manage to secure anything other than the starting 2x3 lmao. No one can survive 2 rounds of combat against silver swords/bows, but I'll try more stuff 🙂

I'm currently at HBD on the maddening GD route. Claude, Leonie and Hilda are all in flying classes, while Byleth is still an Enlightened One. When Lorenz and Ignatz spawn, I just let them die bc I'm not using them. 2 questions: - How do i manage to safekeep Byleth? I can't kill enemies fast enough with the other 3 to prevent Byleth from getting swarmed. - Lysithea, Marianne and Rafael just don't spawn? I've made it to turn 13 and these pricks still haven't appeared despite the others spawning at like turn 4 Many thanks!

Fair point, but let's not forget that Marcus is just some guy and Seteth is a Saint 😛

for who cares: ended up resetting and untimately completed the next maddening attempt after 110 hours, final stretch was grueling

Seteth's statue in the Cathedral depicts him with the spear of Assal, but when you recruit him, he can't even equip the damn thing, why??

Thanks for the replies! for more context, I'm not using DLC and also going for a no deaths run. I'm just gonna focus on my upcoming exams this week and then decide 🙂

+ I also invested 5k in Firene, which is also a real waste it seems like.

I'm currently on my first maddening playthrough at chapter 13, and I think I've made some irreversible, poor decisions: - I invested 25k into Brodia at the end of the Brodia section, so i did not really benefit from it aside from getting the Brave Sword - I invested a lot of exp, a master seal and a second seal into Sage Anna, but she is outclassed by all other frequently used units so I prolly won't benefit from her moneymaking - I started using Sommie way too late - I did not invest in SP for Canter in earlygame, or for later good skills like speedtaker. I spent way too much BF on bond rings and not enough on bond levels. Is it advised to just restart? Bc I don't feel like carrying this burden through most of a maddening playthrough only to have all the shitty decisions catch up to me later and make the lategame impossible. Thanks a lot!
