I've read multiple times about the 20 bonus characters max. I have also heard of the 99 unit list of characters you can store data for. Could I use some of the 99 save slots and place them into a game already with 20 bonus characters max? EX: Save A has the 20 bonus char. Save file B gets 20 different bonus characters. Could I transfer the characters from Save A, effectively having an extra 20 characters over the limit?

If you understood Japanese, I would say maybe, but the American release changes that. I would just wait.
