What really irritates me is that the games could have been VERY much improved with either his removal (no more hovering over our shoulders and spoiling plot-points) or full integration, but they waffled on it half-way.
I think Ranulf spoiling plot points made the game feel a lot more realistic. I don't know about FE9 well enough to speak for it, but when Ranulf spoiled stuff about the Black Knight it definitely felt more realistic for Ike to be told where he was at rather than revealed at the last minute.

Oh. Lemme correct myself. Everybody will run away from you because they are afraid of your Inigo's amazingness. Why would they make fun of my team? Did I say that? They dismiss it because it is full of Heros and some other units, all with LB.
So, while it's technically possible to beat my team, even without LB, none of the people I've talked to have. And none of their teams have LB.
Meanwhile, I'm laughing at their All Stats +2 skills.
Back on topic: ChromxFeMU is certainly good, but I like ChromxOlivia because many people do runs with MaMU and if you did pick female now you have 3 awesome children. Still if you go ChromxFeMU it isn't a big deal since now Lucina has a crapton of classes and Lon'quxOlivia is almost or just as good, since Lancebreaker seems like a worthy substitute.

Since in my postgame file with Chrom!Inigo he's a Swordmaster I always give him Ragnell for range or Sol Katti to Sol and crit everything. I suppose Mystletainn is a great edition if you decide that the Sol Katti isn't worth it. I'll test it out. Also with this Chrom!Inigo nobody in your school will make fun of your team. It's just too good.Hmm. I may have to try that sometime. Then again, I'm not sure there's much point, as I'm pretty sure people at school just dismiss my Streetpass team without even bothering to look at my setup anymore.
Actually, could you throw in a Mystletainn for Skill +5?

With potions and an A support with a Male MU you got 86% as a Swordmaster Inigo. S support....SUPER MEGA SOL!!!!!!!!!!! If only Sol could activate with Luna then holy crap I'm not even kidding Inigo would be invincible.What. No, I looove my ~70% Sols/Lunas and ~36% Aethers/Astras.
Sol, Limit Break(er), Rightful King, Vantage, and Armsthrift baby.I like trolling StreetPass with 62% Aegis/Pavise on Sorcerer Lucina and Sorcerer Morgan too, but when I'm looking to The Strongest One's Name, I have more important skills to use than Rightful King : (
-
Ellieson managed to use Inigo just fine, but I digress. Inigo just can utilize Rightful King better than Morgan at least in postgame. I don't want to start an argument though so I'll just say IMO ChromxOlivia>ChromxFeMU and you guys can be entitled to your own opinion.wrt the last bit about ingame Inigo that only depends on if how much/at all are you willing to grind ingame. For us nogrind players, He'd have terrible bases and it'd give Lucina terrible bases. No thanks.
And postgame depends on who you really want to maximise. What if I /want/ my +6 strength Lucina? Since this thread is about Chrom's pairs and nobody else's therefore in the context of his pairs only, I'd think MU's customisable caps and up to a +4 addition in a stat of your choice in addition with all the choices of classes win out.
-
That kinda sounds counterintuitive since I'd probably want Morgan ASAP rather than having to recruit a child who has a very difficult paralogue just to get him... why not just cut the middleman?
I admitted that FeMUxChrom is better for ingame and partially for this reason, but why does this matter postgame? You can grind infinitely and just get your super awesome Inigo. Besides, it's POSSIBLE to do ChromxOlivia even ingame and still get Inigo. The reward? SOL EVERYTHING.
-
For postgame, ChromxOlivia seems better than even FeMUxChrom. Why? It makes a super amazing Inigo while making a Lucina that has great class options and good caps. Got FeMU? Marry Inigo and have not one, not two, but THREE super akskfkskdkdkdkakd children. For ingame though FeMUxChrom is probably better without dance abuse, and I suppose Olivia can marry somebody else and still be kickass, seeing as how he's basically impossible to screw over even if you pair Olivia with Gregor.

I'd honestly have a legit challenge rather than one that, in addition to being rife with fake difficulty, essentially shoehorns me into having to use the best units just to make it anything resembling bearable.
Fake...difficulty? I am confused. The game really isn't that hard past chapter 4 (and depending on your playstyle chapter 5) and if you try you can use any character in the game, and the only units I am not sure if they're viable in Lunatic are Sully and Stahl. I've heard and/or used the rest of the units in Lunatic mode. As a matter of fact in my second Lunatic run I've been using Ricken a lot and he's been working surprisingly well, although I'm only on chapter 13 but I doubt he'll drop in usefulness when chapter 18+ comes along.
However I agree that Lunatic+ is a little unfair.

I'd rather some defensive skill over Astra since making up for lacking offense is easy. Making up for inadequate defense... is more difficult.
Well whatever it is Olivia!Lucina has all the defensive skills Lucina has, san Pavise. Renewal isn't a skill that is that great for Lucina (albeit a great skill for other units like Gerome) and Lifetaker isn't even worth considering over Astra. Sumia!Lucina is good but it's not like Olivia!Lucina doesn't have more than what she needs.
-
True, Astra doesn't waste weapon uses like in other FEs, but it still doesn't really sound all that appealing when Lucina already has Aether...
With Rightful King and Limit Break(er) it gives Great Lord Lucina a 60% chance+ to activate Aether and or Astra in one strike iirc. Where as if it was only Aether it would be only 37% I need to look up on that but point is Astra+Aether>Aether+Some other skill. Doesn't hurt that Swordmaster Inigo with Rightful King and Sol (my set in my Lunatic postgame run with ChromxOlivia) with a luck boosting tonic Inigo has almost an 80% chance to activate Sol and when with somebody (I think Hero and Assassin) he gets a whopping 86% chance to activate Sol and he can become pretty damn hard to beat even if you pit him in the middle of a mob with that. The only possible worthwhile replacement for that is if you paired Olivia up with either Lon'qu, Virion, or Frederick and gave Inigo Lancebreaker.
-
If you were to make Chrom marry FeMU, it wouldn't be worth it IMO. ChromxOlivia is a great pairing and by having "you" marry Inigo you can make 3 amazing children instead of just 2, but that's just my view.
I know you never put that in your first post, but you seem to be wanting ChromxFeMU now.

Bulma.
I was contemplating on making my MU look like Bulma and then have her marry a Donnel!someone male and give birth to a Morgan with purple hair. Also whoever the child is must be really overconfident and aims to become stronger than Chrom.
-
I don't know about generics, but if Inigo and FeMU have a child, the son should be called Pelleas. Ain't a bad thing to name your child off of the author of a book that changed your mother's life and made her what she is today.
Nobody can beat Pelleas though. -
MU, because naming your character customization thing an Avatar never fit me for this game, and since I say My Unit irl, I say MU here.
-
I feel so abnormal picking the Japanese voices.....they just fit more to me.
-
The Einherjar cards are mere plot excuses for why DLC/Spotpass exist, and I never got it. Didn't the Japanese use another method to justify why they (including Tiki) exist?
-
Uhh, you see, this one time I found this extremely attractive woman and I.....oh wait wrong type of guilty pleasures.I've always enjoyed getting Nowi married and then once the child is recruited I would go to a skirmish and let Nowi get beat. Felt so bad yet so good. Kellam also needed to realize that he married to a manakete that looked 5 and needed to move on with his life, I did it for his own good.
-
Okay, around what speed should my Chrom be at chapter 5 to use Sumia and just use the fort to mainly Chrom solo it? I kind of want to beat this game in a way that isn't just, MU, Lissa, Lon'qu, Libra, and Frederick basically ruining lives. Which leads me to another important question, is Lancebreaker enough to compensate for (a Swordmaster) Inigo's lack of Rightful King? This is basically the difference between me giving up and grinding through chapter 5 with Sumia and Frederick or not.

A country that is ruled by blue haired tough guys, is only a good reason for Ike to be involved in it somehow.
Okay confession time, I always thought Ike's hair was purple, don't ask why I just didn't see blue.
Probably would've been for the better though, as Lief, Micaiah, Elincia, Sothe (not necessarily a Lord but you can never kill him), and Celica are currently the only lords that don't have blue hair. Kind of wish Priam's hair was lavender but ah well.

So I have a level 30 Bride Olivia.. say I use a Second Seal on her to some other class, would I need another Wedding Bouquet on her to get her back to a Bride class later on or can I use a Second Seal again? (or you can say that for any other character.)
And can you get multiple Wedding Bouquets if you replay the map? I'm assuming you get Eirika once but I don't know about the item. I'll assume you can since you can get multiple Limit Breakers, but... yeah.
You have to use the Wedding Buoquet again, it sucks but SB2 is easy and could be good for grinding so you could occasionally beat 2 birds with one stone.
As for your second question, yes you can.

Units like Mia in the Fire Emblem series that are good but underdeveloped, like Guy from FE7. Can't expect a unit to be well-developed just because she's good.
Also, she's not even close to the best unit in RD and she's overrated as hell. So many more units worth training over her in Part 3 and they are 3 other Trueblades that are kickass in Endgame so it doesn't matter, but I guess I shouldn't go too off-topic. -
What's a better girlfriend for a +Speed MU!Gerome that heals himself with Renewal, flies, and has 12 movement with Boots and no support bonuses? Dark Knight Libra!Noire or Bow Knight some father!Kjelle? I guess it's more of whether going magic or going physical is more important and Lucina should be with Yarne so she can't be it. :|

Could Priam be a descendant of Mist?
It all makes sense now, Soren did Mist and everyone thought that Soren's bromance with Ike made him gay....quick check Paris's back and see if he has a brand
It actually seems possible, but knowing IS I doubt it is.

Male build 3, voice 1, hair 2, face 5, +lck, -speed.
-You cannot build supports.
-Cannot use tonics.
-Skirmishes disallowed.
-Paralogues not allowed at all.
-Promotions not allowed.
-Not allowed to purchase from Anna.
-You cannot purchase from a store at all once you leave the area
-Equip only the weakest weapons possible. Heal, Wind, Bronze *****.
Too similar to Elieson's playthrough, I say do a legitimate Lunatic mode run because maybe one person finished one and I don't want to be the second or even the first to showcase a Lunatic playthrough.
As for MU, Male +Speed, -HP.
FE9 0% growths LTC

Sadly I have never played PoR so I can't help you with this stuff. All I can say is that this LTC is amazing and to keep it up! I'll probably rent this game sometime and go play it just so I can start helping people out if they need it.
Also, just wondering, why did you ditch Zihark so early? Nothing against it if you are doing well without him, I just don't understand why you promoted him only to ditch him soon after.
