I don't think it's silly, I imagine there will be a lot of this and who knows - maybe something will come from it! It may become legit in the future... (or in an alternative future, perhaps?)
when i saw this i was kind of skeptical really
to me looks like it was poorly photoshoped
plus i doubt nintendo would be that nice
then again i could be wrong they gave us
free dlc for their fat itallian money maker
so it could happen just hope its not the official box

At a guess I'd say no I don't think they'll use different ones - it wouldn't be cost effective. As FE is a fairly niche genre (most of my friends have only heard of Roy / Marth as SSB characters), I doubt they'd go to the expense of doing that, also I don't think there are many game franchises that make those sorts of changes.
All in all I think NoA / NoE will want to keep costs low to ensure that profits are high(er).

And I like MU/Avatar's(Boku/Ore 1): Senkyoku o kaeru!(I just happen to hear that in a certain LP) I think it means something like "I'll change the flow of battle or I'll turn things around"
ill admit the avatars units quotes are pretty cool

1. I'm not too sure, it seems doubtful if they haven't implimented (or announced) it for Japan...
2. I think the DLC's for gold / EXP are being primed as the 'go here with your weaklings' option,.
3. I doubt it, I'm imagining that NoA and NoE will want money - especially as they're having to translate the DLC
4. I don't see why not - I have a JPN 3DS which I've been taking around London and I get random streetpass battles, so I'm guessing it'll work the other way around....

2. will the arena be able to be unlocked for grinding weak units ?

i liked the nintendo direct but a little miffed america was given a release date set in stone when the uk was given just april nextyear usually meaning put back again !

well preorder bonuses are usually something like a limited edition carry cases or a hard shell protector for the systm
i would want to go for the hard shell casing makes my system look more awesome
