true but... maybe its the way the translation was handled? It seemed like (at least to me) that there were a lot of hints towards the first Exalt being Marth....

The more I read dialogue concerning the First Exalt and about Grima it is starting to make me really wonder if Grima actually STARTED as 'Grima'.
Think about how stories change, how people are reffered to change over the years to get my logic. The game makes a lot of refferances to the First Exalt and in some cases it is made rather obvious the seem to be talking about Marth (Cordelia and Donnel's supports refferance the First Exalt's wife, with the heavily implications that it is Caeda they are talking about).
Which makes me wonder about Grima more and more.
What if Grima wasnt originally called that? What if he started off as a different dragon, like say.... Madeus? (that was the dragon from fe12 right?).
It is entirely possible, and would actually explain a lot of Grima and keep it rather in line with Awakening being a sequal to fe11&12.
What are your guy's thoughts on this?

Actualy FE13 characters: Grima.
I really really wanted to recruit Grima. Paticularly since in my main file I married Chrom and then I had to wonder about something: Remove 'Grima' and that Avatar is still technically there. What kind of mental state must that person be in if you remove Grima's influence? I think it would be really cool to add this kind of character to show more of Grima's power, personality, and backstory while adding more detail to your alternate self as well. (it'd be a nightmare, I know, but I would personally love it).
That Valkrie from the Valm arc (I tend to forget enemy unit's names). She had an awsome design and I really wanted her.
I wish we could have recruited Phila in some way as well.....
Epic 'Stach as well. General 'Stach is made of utter win and should have not only been recruitable but also became a marriage candidate.
Validar. There is a lot we still dont know about the Avatar, about Grima, about the Grimleal. So I really wished we had an ACTUAL Grimleal to recruit. I vote Validar! (Papa-Child bonding, dammit!)
I am so beyond weird.....

For whatever reason the RNG hates my Anna.
poor stat growths and the enemies seem to think she has a bright neon 'KILL ME' sign right above her head (it makes her hard to train)

I love the Hero class. Im not exactly sure why, but if a unit can become it I tend to reclass them to it (at least for a short while)
Mages in general were favored in my game.
I hated the healer classes though. And archers. Archers and healers were a pain in the ass to level (so I'd promote/reclass them the instant I could. Virion never ended up as a sniper in my file)
Manaketes were awsome as well (expecially after I reclassed them to Mages, Sages, Wyvern Riders, and Wyvern Lords)
I did not care for the Taguel class (Panne and Yarne ended up as assassins...)

Getting bored of a game is completely and utterly normal. I adore the Fire Emblem series and i replay Awakening a lot but even I get bored with it after a while. When that happens I just go play something else (no shortage there since I just the Mass Effect trilogy and about 5 other 3DS games) until I decide I want to play it again. (Or I work or go on walks or go see a random movie if I feel up to it)

I figured a year at least. Chrom would have been looking around as would everyone else and that could take a long time depending on how far and thorough they traveled (along with all the other royal crap they'd have to worry about)
So, i figured minimum of a year between Grima's defeat and finding the Avatar

I know Lucina's mother support is generic, but just imagine if Sully were to wear that or even the others as well if they were to put that on.
That moment when you realize Lucina thought this was the perfect dress for SULLY.
Suddenly the dress got a whole lot funnier.

Yes it is random, but the fact that the artist actually drew the dress mentioned in the support conversation (along with Lucina being the one to wear it) makes it really funny.

On an extended note; even her daughter can't support Chrom's. Two families apart, there. It does make Cordelia's marriages with anybody else feel a little superficial, too.
Ironically, A Female Morgan that ISNT Lucina's daughter cant support with her either.
My male Avatar and Chrom were total bros. Why cant their two daughters support?

Gangrel - Joker whenever im feeling indifferent on his character. Most of the time I call him something Im not allowed to type out.
Walhart - Walmart. I call him Wally a lot to XD (oh god... now I got an image of Wall E in red armor....)

I get some streetpasses that are randomly generated (despite passing other players) but i dont mind it to much XD
I just find it funny when i streetpass my little brother's 3DS and still get a random generated team from it (and he's never even touched my english version of Fire Emblem Awakening)

I relate a lot to Noire due to a shared history of a rather abusive mother and a shattered sense of self worth and self esteem due to this.
My boyfriend/Fiancee says Im just like Tharja, however, which terrifies me.
A friend says im a lot like a mix of Sully, Nowi, Lucina, and Basilio. Not sure how that works, though.

Yes, but she sped up the process (which was my point. Not that things went worse without her involvement, but that she sped up the process in which it happened)
(although, yes, things get very very bad when she didnt get involved)

someone once posted a theory about this exact thing that I like to think might explain it:
Lucina caused events to speed up a bit. Had Lucina not been there the war with Gangrel would have lasted longer, as would the war with Walhart. It is very likely then, that the Avatar's possession and Chrom's death at the Avatar's hands might not have happened for years after Lucina's birth had Lucina herself not gone to the past inorder to change it.
Some characters even mention this, I think, that had it not been for Lucina's influence things would have been drastically different (Chrom being injured and Emmeryn dying, Basilio dying, ect)
Technically, its kinda Lucina's inadvertant fault that everything went sideways so quickly ^^;

Like a lot of people have mentioned I'd like a remake that combined FE7 and FE6 into a multi-gen game.
With the capabilities of the 3ds, I think that would be possible (and really awsome!)

Some of the things that can happen in it are hilarious.
Like when I did the test for my Female Avatar and Chrom (who were married) and it said they adored each other, then went to see their feelings towards their kids:
Both parents adored Lucina (who loved them back) but both parents HATED Morgan (who adored them)
I couldnt stop laughing XD (and then I checked Lucina and Morgans were it showed Lucina hated Morgan and Morgan adored Lucina XD)
I like it mostly for kicks, but not much else XD

Well, I think it is easy to say that Fire Emblem Awakening was a pretty big success (people at my job play it now, and I've streetpassed guests while Im working) so I know its gotten pretty far.
But that made me wonder something.
What if they decided, before making a true 'Fire Emblem 14', that they decided to remake some of the previous games? (like what they dis with 1 and 3).
I mean, adding the Avatar, changing up the storyline to fit that, better graphics, ect.
Personally, I would love this, since you know they'd bring it over to North America and other countries now (it became to popular for there to be much doubt).
Personally as well, I would love a remake of Blazing Sword (FE 7), with a customizable tactician with more plot importance. (and not just becouse I'd adore the idea of fighting beside a Lyndis I can actually support then).
A chance for a Fire Emblem 6 to be brought over after being remade would also be cool..
ALso, what kinda features would you guys like?
I like all the features in Awakening, but I admit that I would like more in terms of support conversations and them effecting the overall plot. Chrom's spouse, no matter who it is, kinda dropped out of importance after the big reveal (unless it is the female avatar, and even then very few scenes even mention 'hey, this chick is my wife whom I love dearly'.)
i also want light magic back. And the magic triangle.
I also want male manaketes that dont look old as dirt. and are not enemy exclusive.
I want a male dancer.
So what would you guys want?

Well, the Gamestop website is telling us now that both the Bundle and the Physical Copy of Fire Emblem Awakening is no longer available.
The specific status is 'Backordered' which basically translates to: We have no copies in stock, we have ordered more from the people who make it, we will inform you when we get more.
The Digital Version is still available for download, but it actually makes me really happy to see that the game and bundle are in such a high demand right now that you cant even order it off the site XD
Any other sites like this?

A funny scene happened to me today with a streetpass battle. Enemy's Avatar activates Ignis shouting the lines "Time to tip the scales!" and completely misses my Avatar. She then, activates Ignis going "Here's how it's done!" and kills him on the spot. I don't know how often that happens to people but the times when lines that syncs and MAKES sense makes this game more awesome.
I had that happen to me on Lunatic mode.
Nearly had a heart attack until I started laughing

I've beaten normal, hard, lunatic, and lunatic+. I've gotten all the romantic supports, all the kid supports, everything.
Now I want a real challange! I wanna play the game and beat it without planning ahead on my own. Becouse if I plan I optimize everything and then the game becomes a cakewalk for me.
This is where you guys come in!
I want you guys to pick the following for me:
My Avatar (Build, hair/face, weakness, strength)
All pairings (including kids and the Avatar)
Pick the units I have to use for the final battle
And any other things you think would make it better (such as banning certain items or DLC)
Difficulty level will be chosen by four flips of a coin to make it true luck of the gods on whether I succeed or not.
Well? Anyone wanna help me out with this?
