  1. Happy Birthday, sorry for being a little late!!!

  2. As I recall, I had gotten the maximum support level between Ike and Oscar, giving Ike super-duper evasion (+15?). So I parked Ike on a defensive (or maybe evasion?) tile on one side of the barrier, and Oscar right next to him on the opposite side. The BK landed a hit maybe once during the whole battle.
  3. First, sorry about the rough situation that you've landed in. It's gonna be tough, but you can get back on your feet! Firstly, getting your own place is paramount. I don't care how good a friend is, it always gets old after a while having someone staying at your house; I wouldn't strain that relationship any longer than you have to. Find an ok apartment with rent that you can cover with only ~50% of your paycheck. You might have to settle on a less than stellar apartment, you might need to split the cost with a roommate, but it should leave you enough money to buy food and start saving. I would forget about leaving town for a while, since you've already got a job and moving is expensive. However, I live in Texas right now, too, so I know what you mean. I grew up in northern California, and it's beautiful weather; when you've got some more funds it's a place to consider. Hope that all this helps. Good luck!
  4. I'm not 100% sure; all I know is that when my wife and I tried to put DLC characters into our streetpass teams, the teams never showed up on the world map. This went on for about a week, with streetpassing every day. As soon as we formed teams of normal story characters, our teams started appearing on each other's world map.
  5. Conspiracy Theory Alert I almost hate to suggest this, because it seems like it would be a stupid business move (and because I hate conspiracy theories in general), but could Nintendo be *cough* accidentally *cough* delaying physical copies of the game to increase eShop sales? It seems like they've been pushing downloadable games pretty hard lately. But that might just by my paranoia talking. But from what people have been posting, it sounds like it's going to have effect of increasing eShop sales, whether intentional or not.
  6. I hope that it doesn't affect Gamestop's supply of the artbooks. My wife and I pre-ordered two copies so that we could get the artbooks. I'm upset about the delay, make no mistake, but I wouldn't have gotten to play it much until the weekend anyway. But if we reserved copies, and they're late, and we don't get our bonus artbooks ... yeah, then I'll be mad.
  7. Yeah, I called the Gamestop in San Antonio where we reserved our copies. They hadn't even been shipped from the manufacturer, apparently. Daily phone calls for us. -_- I guess that I wouldn't have had much time to play it until the weekend, but still...
  8. Thanks for the correction, Wheels. I did my transfer with a new system, so there was no data to merge. Guess that's why I didn't remember that part. -_-
  9. 1. I'm not sure, sadly. I kinda hope not, since I just got a new 3DSXL.. 2. It seems like audio will be English only, which is kind of sad. I was really looking forward to hearing Gin-san's voice. 3-5. When you transfer data between 3ds systems, it does a "system transfer". Everything that is on the system itself (friend codes, application data, etc) is transferred, erasing everything that was on the system before, and deleting it from the old one. So no, you can't pick and choose which data to send. And yes, if you bought a 3DS with Fire Emblem on it (are they really doing that?) and then transferred your old system data, it would delete Fire Emblem. As I understand it, anyway. 6. If you want to use a different SD card, you have to manually copy your SD card data using a PC. The SD cards are locked to work with only one system, you see, but the system transfer doesn't transfer that data. It seems kind of confusing at first, but it's not as complicated as it sounds. Nintendo has some pretty good guides, and I'm sure people here would help with technical questions, if they can.
  10. ...has 4 February circled on his calendar.

  11. Don't mind at all, and no problem ^_^

  12. I added you as a friend. Hope you don't mind! This is actually the first forum I've seriously tried to be a part of, so I'm still figuring out how things work. Thanks again for the stationery!

  13. I'm sure I'll figure most of it out eventually, but any help would be appreciated.
