My name is Altoclarinet5, and I have been a Fire Emblem series fan for a good chunk of my life. Blazing Sword was my first ever introduced game in late elementary/middle school, and now being in college, I enjoy still playing the games with great delight!
I have been reading some things on the forum, but have yet to post anything. It's probably because I'm new to this whole forum business and I really feel I'm not an expert with fire emblem games to give a good enough response to most topics. I am currently interested in Fire Emblem: Awakening and will be getting a 3DS this upcoming Spring Break, so I look forward to playing it with much anticipation. I hope to engage in wonderful conversations while I'm here!
EDIT: I guess it would be wise to give some little information about myself, seeing as it is an introduction. I'm a huge fan of classical music, I used to play Bb clarinet, Alto Eb clarinet, and Tenor Sax. Made 4A Texas All-State principal with Alto Clarinet, and it has been my favorite instrument since. I'm in my freshman year of college and majoring in Chemical Engineering. It's definitely a challenge, but I'm the kind of guy who enjoys having a challenge. I consider some of my gifts to be a great listener and being extremely compassionate. I love my friends and family, and of course would drop everything for them when they call for my aid.
I'd have to say my favorite FE class out of all games would be the cavalier/paladin classes. I've always been a fan of those who would be so dedicated and loyal to those they serve, and I feel I would definitely fit the bill to be one! My favorite characters are Ephraim ( I feel I relate mostly to him), probably all three FE7 lords (Lyndis trumps all as she was my absolute favorite lord with both personality and usefulness), Chrom (for the newest lord, I actually feel really connected to him, and his motives are great), and many other characters I feel would be kind of too long to list.
Other than that, I've played and completed at least one run through of Sword of Seals, Blazing Sword, Sacred Stones, Radiant Dawn, and Shadow Dragon (Remake).
I have had a chance to play: Shadow Dragon (Original), Gaiden, Mystery of the Emblem, Geneology of the Holy War, Thracia 776, and New Mystery of the Emblem.
