  6. I suggest *A silly attempt at being funny and/or not reading the topic which was boring on the first reply...* 1000 points left huh? Using this list (I choose to ignore virtual console; reason) you could go for: NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (if you've already got the DS version don't bother but if you don't want to spend the insane prices this goes for on eBay these days $10 is nothing too bad...just remember DS quality music and GBA quality graphics on the big screen be warned Ace attorney fanboys like to whine about this version as does every media outlet resulting in its megacritic score of 7 thumbs down) Toki Tori Excitebike: World *differnet name in every region* (pick 2) The Magic Obelisk/Magnetis/Tomena Sanner/Muscle March (mainly if you have other people around, as a single player game there isn't much to it) Or if you have the other Sonic games on VC you might like to hope Sonic & Knuckles comes out soon (since it has the lock-on function). Europe is apparently getting it on Feb 12th but given the Japanese release was 27th October who knows when America will have it.
  7. Sounds like Sonic Rush :P (except that was more crushers and bottomless pits you have no way of knowing). The word I can think of to describe this so far is...fake. The music is trying to be Mega Drive but it sounds fake (let's take the drums from Sonic 1 then put techno sounding MIDI way above the quality of the Mega Drive sound chip), the graphics feel wonky currently (casual speed walking, graphical issues like the size of rings). They've got time to iron all this out and I suppose it isn't meant to feel old in the same sense as Mega Man 9 but the impression I'm getting is retro throwbacks are for the sake of being nostalgic (old Badniks, old bits of music, remixed Eggman Machines etc). The good thing about it being episodic is I can pick up episode 1 and if the rest sucks not bother...or it being a SEGA published game wait for the whole season to come out and then watch the price drop until it costs about the same as 1 episode.
  8. What do you mean this isn't "play/break the game for me" thread? I remember there being a raffle at some conversion where you could win this. Turns out there is more than 1... http://cgi.ebay.com/Nintendo-Fire-Emblem-steel-bronze-REPLICA-SWORD-2009_W0QQitemZ230414877704QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item35a5cc0408 I need some padding. Can't be bothered to rehost images so...erm some of, auction description: No international shipping counts me out. Well that and my "best offer"* probably wouldn't cover the material costs... *-I don't know if they expect $2000 from it but best offer is a good way of doing a blind auction.
  9. Wouldn't an easier method than completely swapping the Rapier and Reginleif data (stats etc) just to modify the few events using them. [18:02:13] XX 00 00 00 20 37 YY 00 - Give unit YY item XX (00 or unit must be present) Figure that out for yourself. What I'm saying is it is easier to change the give Rapier event to give a Reginleif.
  10. You know how the saying goes "if you can't say anything nice, say nothing". Though what I will say is companies only make these shows because they are safe and given the financial situation the industry is in (due to American companies not being as gullible as they were in the past*) it is make safe shows or close up shop. Why is it safe? Guaranteed fanbase and thus Blu-Ray/Merchandise sales. Form what I've heared the anime of K-ON! actually surpasses the original manga and improves on it. *-ADV Films basically died due to buying half of 2004 regardless of quality and then seeing them flop. Though I do have to wonder what licensing agreements Crunchyroll has since they seem to be the ones who are buying everything now...
  11. Custom built machine from 2001. I'm even still using the CRT monitor (my LCD one broke). I hope to get a new machine sometime in 2010.
