Mauthe Doog Natasha has 16 attack and 17 defense and 7 mov. She is SCARY, and pretty much my only ridiculously powerful unit, even more powerful than my jeigan, Deathgoyle Forde with 15 str and 16 def.

It's just a little inconvenient that I got a half decent mage and a spell that isn't great for training. I feel stupid for not realizing it was the eclipse effect and making a whole post about it though, lol. Edit: On a side note, when can I promote Amelia? It seems there is a flag holding her back from promoting this early. She's my Eirika, and at her current state she is being entirely useless. Would there be a way to change the time she can promote in future builds? (minor edit to grammar)

this explains everything. I was getting so mad! no wonder I kept getting 10 damage on 20 hp enemies. xD thank you for clearing that up. I totally forgot that was a trait.

In my most recent test run, I ran into an issue. After I got to chapter 2, both of the replacements for Ross/Garcia were eyes. One of them was Joshua, and after he attacked once, I realized his damage went down substantially. I thought "okay, maybe the Eye class is bugged." Nope. After he attacked, it was apparent to me that Gerik was also doing next to no damage. For some reason, both of them were shown as having "--" damage, and whenever either of them attacked it miscalculated their base damage and the weapon's damage. I would theoretically do 15 damage to a bandit (he has 0 res, while Gerik has a 9 might tome and 6 base mag) but I only did 10. Am I missing something? I am using randomized weapon traits, but I've never seen something to this extent, so I was wondering if it was because of a trait. As shown below, there's no indication of a decrease in mag either. Just kinda confused. Going to keep playing until I can test out another tome. screenshots: quick edit: THIS GUY HAS 0 RES

I've accidentally deleted my file a good three times... Seriously, the whole dang save feature makes it hard to make another save because I'm so used to just saving as fast as possible. Anyways, on topic, my avatars: (quite an uncanny resemblance to OP's character... :P) (I accidentally deleted this one's save, but he was in the logbook so it's all okay... I guess.)

Out of the four-five FE games I've personally played, My list would be as followed: Shadow Dragon<Blazing Sword<Radiant Dawn=Path of Radiance<Sacred Stones<Awakening. Shadow Dragon was a very lackluster remake, and the whole giving up units makes my OCD completionist gameplay obsolete. Blazing Sword is a great game and a wonderful beginning to the franchise in America, but I feel like the 3D games were just more fitting for me, they had more content and I was one of those people who liked the 3D graphics instead of complaining how they're not top notch for the system they're on. PoR/RD are both pretty equal in enjoyment for me. Sacred Stones was my first Fire Emblem, and I absolutely love the game... but, Awakening just took everything good about it and doubled it in my opinion. I'm absolutely in love with Awakening, to the point where I could say it's flawless(disregarding multiplayer that no FE game ever has shined for anyways so who cares).

I haven't finished my first playthrough of the game yet (I blame the shipping delay) but I've already made most of the possible couples... Gregor/Tharja gave me some unsuspected feels... basically Gregor's brother died from a bandit attack, and Gregor took his name to honor him. Tharja uses her abilities, and Gregor gets forgiveness he's longed for from his brother. ;~; Brady/Severa... S&B club is just spectacular! xD the couple is kinda cute in the end, too. Sully/Virion was a definite pairing after I played the demo. Lon'qu/Miriel... other than how beneficial the dual support stats are, given as how they make Miriel have the highest speed out of all my units, the convo's are just silly, with all these tests Miriel runs on Lon'qu.

The characters I don't like?... ... definitely Maribelle, character-wise AND stats-wise. I can tolerate Severa because of her wonderful stats. I like Brady's character but he just pisses me off with his stats. I wish Cordelia wouldn't constantly obsess over Chrom EVEN WHEN YOU MARRY HER TO SOMEONE. I regret marrying her. I don't like Frederick early-game, since he hogs experience obviously. But even when you reclass him and try to train him up, he takes absolutely forever to level no matter what. I felt like I was only training him was because I neglected to use Stahl and he was the only character strong enough to support with Olivia.
