  1. This happened in my game too. I thought it was a bug, but now I wonder if it's intended? I recall a similar thing happening in another chapter too, but I can't remember which one it was.
  2. Chapter 14 is imo the hardest chapter for CF route for this very reason. It might be a long shot, but if Dorothea or Hubert have bowbreaker you could try parking them in the forest tile close to where you spawn. Equip the staff that gives +1 range and use Mire/Thoron to let them counter and hope they avoid enough attacks to bait/kill most of the bowknights. Use the blessing gambit if you have it too. Another option is use the Retribution gambit if anyone can use it and just let Edelgard tank the bowknights.
  3. Finished CF maddening today, the post-timeskip chapters are all pretty easy. Hardest one imo was Claude's due to the large amount of constant reinforcements at the start. I think after you unlock paralogues you start to outlevel the people you recruit. Leonie was still good as a late recruit (level 19 or so?), although she did lack skill ranks to switch to paladin at 20.
  4. I only used some very early on on certain characters like Petra.
  5. You're welcome, your strategy seems a lot more consistent at the cost of having bernie not go bows early.
  6. Yeah, I baited him close to the starting position and then realized I had no way of reliably damaging him that wouldn't get one of my units killed on the counter lol. Byleth had to dodge a 90% chance to hit to chip in enough dmg to finish him off. That's why I'm thinking that abusing the avoid tiles is the way to go, since that would decrease that hit chance to a 50% at least.
  7. Just beat ch4 as BE while killing the DK. Maybe striding someone who doesn't get doubled (unequip weapons for that bit of extra AS) to the avoid tile, then striding other people towards the avoid tile as well is the best way to handle him. Even if they get doubled, most characters only need to avoid 1 hit to not die and be able to contribute massively with a combat art. Sylvain did 25 dmg or so to him alone for me.
  8. Got bad grades pretty much all the time in high school so I got used to it there. Now that I'm in college, I haven't gotten less then a 8/10 (dutch scoring system) yet.
  9. Swords are my favorite weapon in any game, even though they might not be the best in FE (lack of good 1-2 range in most games).
  10. Ike X Elincia all the way! There was definately a hint at them liking each other in PoR, even though it kind of dissapeared in RD. Also, Ike is a lot cooler then Geoffrey.
