  1. I was expecting it to go rather quickly, but not this quickly.

I went to Gamestop an hour after the direct and made a pre-pre-order.

    I'm on top of things.

Does Gamestop offer the 3 in 1 bundle with the artbook? If so, that makes things a bit easier for me in terms of pre-ordering.

  2. Is Hinoka a good mother for Siegbert? What about Mozume?

I'd imagine Hinoka is a decent mother for Siegbert, not the best but up there. Let's take a look.

Growth rates: Going with the (Mother+Child)/2 formula.

    Sigbert

    Growth Rates

    Hp: 42, Str: 45, Mag: 10, Skl: 42, Spd: 45, Luck: 42, Def: 35, Res: 30

    Modifiers

    Str: 4, Mag: -1, Skl: -1, Spd: 1, Luck: 3, Def: 1, Res: 1

Looking at Siegbert's growth rates, he's most definitely his Hinoka's son in this case since their growth rates are almost identical. And with his modifiers he definitely outshines Xander in terms of stats but Siegfried is just that good. The -1 skill cap does hurt a little but nothing to truly worry about.

Classes he would get: We know he gets Cavalier and Wyvern Rider from his father. Hinoka would give him Pegasus Warrior.

This means Hinoka gives him these skills without worry about marriage/buddy seals: Swallow Strike, Eastern Heart, Rally Speed, Mirror Strike, Soar, Sun God.

The skills Hinoka can give to Siegbert from her reclass options - Remember only one of these skills can be given to Siegbert.

Lance Fighter tree: Defense Seal, Substitute, Speed Seal, Lancefaire, Breaking Sky, Flamboyant

    Buddy sealed options-

Priestess tree (Sakura)- Miracle, Rally Luck, Magic Counter, Renewal, Rally Magic, Tomefaire

Bowman tree (Setsuna)- Skill +2, Prescient Victory, Raven Strike, Bowfaire

    Not sure cases:

Wyvern Rider (Camilla)- A waste of a buddy seal since Siegbert will always have the Wyvern Rider tree.

Rod Knight (Azura)- Not sure if Azura give Hinoka the class if so: Demoiselle (Distinguished Son for Siegbert), Resistance +2, Battle Command, Rally Resistance, Servant's Joy, Tomebreaker

The main skills that stand out to me are Lancefaire, Breaking Sky, Miracle (due to Siegbert's higher luck cap in this pairing), Tomebreaker.

I'm not going into all the possiblities of Siegbert buddying/marrying second gen units. But based on what I see here, this is a decent pairing for Siegbert.

  3. I've been playing Genealogy of Blagi and I'm on chapter 10. I missed quite a few characters it seems as the hack is a lot different in terms of recruitment order in the 2nd gen. If anyone could provide the answers, that would be much appreciated.

    Characters that I'm missing:

Pamela's other child which would have been the replacement for Corple, I recruited Meng (who replaces Leen).

The replacements for Johan and Johalva.

    The replacement for Hannibal.

One more question, what exactly does Lewyn (Levin) do besides be someone who just blocks the way for enemies? He has a staff that I have no idea what it does.

One thing I truly despise in this hack is the lack of an arena, so money is hard to come by if you want to actually use stronger weapons.

  4. After a long search, I for the life of me cannot find the Genealogy of Neir patch (or hack, whichever it's called). I checked the site listed on the first page, and it doesn't have what I was looking for. The links in this thread don't really contain the patches anymore. If someone can steer me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated.

  5. I saw in the Let's Play where Velvet was pair up partner for Gaia and she transformed but did nothing.

SowWhen you have a Taguel/Manakete pair up partner, do they consume a use of their stone just by transforming and doing nothing or do they have to attack(normally or dual attack) in order for them to consume or use of the stone?

I apologize in advance if this question sounds confusing to read.

  6. Shut up crap geezer!

You young bloods know nothing of this forest's history!

O wise hermit, why does everyone hate Fiona?

Because she was blessed with the earthly earth affinity. But was cursed with bad base stats and a maps that hate grounded horses. If she were Dragonmaster, then all would be good.

  7. I've been here ever since trees began sprouting here in Serenes Forest and I don't like any of you birds and squirrels. However I do expect you all to give me good presents for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Winter Solstice.

If you like to know anything about this Forest's history, ask me the cranky hermit who doesn't like you guys but still expects gifts from you all.

  8. What has Fire Emblem taught me?

Never to say who your favorite character is. Avoid talking the games in general...oh wait that's the community. Just call me the old hermit that has seen the forest go through changes.

What I've actually learned in Fire Emblem:

Strippers can make units energized and attack again...for free.

Laguz can smoke crack and get a short lived boost, just like in real life.

GBA Pegasus Knights are taught to fight yet can't lift any lances.

    Deserts ALWAYS have hidden treasure.

  9. Persuasion is the best skill in the game. You can pretty much get whatever you want with high Persuade stat.

I usually go Sentinel->Weapon Master as I only play Light Sided. The Dark Side is too stupid to deal with.

Oh and if you're aren't playing the Restored Content Mod, then you're playing KOTOR II wrong.
