  1. I found a video from YouTube that there's a Unused In-Game Model of Sothe as an Assassin that I don't think we have an existing screenshot in the unused page of the site.

    Here's this link from YouTube about the Unused Data of Assassin Sothe in FE9. (EDIT: Sorry, I don't know that just caused something disabled from here?)

    Here's the screenshots that I got from the video, that user that uploaded the video from youtube saids that this is not fake and did actually use the Action Replay code to allow Sothe to promote to become as an Assassin in Path of Radiance.

    Character's stats in this game are the character's personal stat plus their class stat (for axe knights like lex, the class skill stat is 6 so the personal skill stat of a 15 skill lex is 9). What that code actualy did is set his personal skill to 5 (so his total skill is now 6+5=11). to actualy increase his skill by 5, you need to give the code the value that corresponds to your current personal skill plus 5. (in this case 14, or 0E in hex). Fair warning: the game can't properly handle a personal stat value of over 15 for any stat other than hp or luck.     Here is the procedure that you must follow in order to get the code to give you the results that you want for any stat other than hp or luck:

    1. Find the class base stat for the character's class using this page: http://serenesforest.net/genealogy-of-the-holy-war/classes/base-stats/

    2. subtract this from the displayed stat to find the current personal stat

    3.add whatever number you want to this value to find the desired personal stat. (you can add the class base stat to see what the effective stat will be)

    4. convert to hex, and use in the code given above (NOTE: if you want the maximum value for any stat other than hp or luck, simply enter 0F)

    For luck, every class has zero base, and the maximum personal stat is 30 (or 1E in hex). HP works entirely differently, so i don't know how the code for that would work.

    Look at his Skill. I added 05 at the end of the address and expected his skill to go up by 5. But it didn't go up at all this time. It actually went down. So, what do I need to add for it to go up or down by a certain amount?

    EDIT: Maybe I should've zoomed in.

  4. It's pretty long and painful and you backtrack. The first time you play it you just keep screaming obscenities at the screen.

    Well I didn't. I loved it. :^} All the backtracking gave me time to pair characters up while getting to the next destination.

    Oh. Wow. That's all I can say here.

    The Ares/Nanna lover conversation does confirm that Raquesis had a thing for Eldigan, though-- especially given the essence of that conversation is "LOL Mom should've kept it in the family but I'm not gonna make her mistakes!" In between the plot-mandated incest, Raquesis and Eldigan, the implied blood relationship between Sylvia and Claude, and all the Gen2 predestined cousin pairings it's rather a lot of circular family trees presented to the player as options.

    Not to mention the psychological incest like Arion/Altena.

  6. I don't think Julia/Celice counts because they have a negative lover growth, so they were never intended to be pairable. Elthsan/Lachesis is implied by a villager, but the Ch5 conversation between Lachesis and Beowulf could also refer to Fin.

    I learned about that yesterday and honestly I am disappointed. Here I was trying to pair them up since the last two chapters and then I learn that they have a negative lover growth. -.-

  7. I never thought about that but that's a good observation! I can totally see your point.

    Orre games were awesome, and dat music! Pyrite Town...I enjoy singing that one. But it does make my fingers tired because I also snap them to get the, well, snapping. Agate Village's music reminds me of an old west/frontier thing. I actually made a video of my brother and the neighbor girl pretending they were pioneers in a covered wagon with that as the background music lol.

    Did anyone else feel disappointed that The Under wasn't in Gale of Darkness? Well yeah, story reasons...but still. It was awesome.

    Yes, that might've been my favorite place in the past game. I remember that one trainer with a Wailmer/Wailord. xD

    I still have both of the games as well.
