Finally a thread for the FeMUs. >_> In Awakening, I usually feel like I'm part of the minority, because I prefer the Japanese voices and dislike Chrom. And then there's the fact that I always marry Gerome in my playthroughs. Pre-release, I was really interested in Gaius and married him in my first playthrough. Later I kinda left him for Gerome though, lol.

So far, FE:A. I'm looking forward to Rune Factory 4 and Pokémon XY too, but I doubt I'll like them more than Awakening.

The Grass types don't really appeal to me, except Snivy. I only picked Oshawott because it looked like a mutated Piplup.

Unlikely but I would propose they add an FE assist trophy, with a catch. They fight normaly like other assist characters but when around other FE characters they give off pair or support bonus.
I was thinking of that too, except they would be Einherjar cards that work like Poké Balls.

It always bothered me that if you married Lon'qu, Say'ri or Yen'fay, Morgan's name didn't have a ' in it. I mean, it could've been...Mor'gan...or something...

Eh, it's good for Snipers, but you really shouldn't be using them anyway. Not really that useful in Awakening since most maps are wide open. 2/10, no bias.

The only reason I use Lethality is because of its animation. :U Most of the time, there are better skills you can use instead like Luna or something.

I don't like how the female models are so fanservice-y. Battle panties on an armored mount? No. Just...no. Seriously, why can't we have pants?

Batta, Glass, Gheb, Denning, and 3-13 archer will get in before anyone else.I actually really want the 3-13 archer, even before I saw this. I'm probably the only one though. <_<;;

I don't know if these are unpopular opinions or not, but I'll post them anyway.
- I prefer using most of the Japanese names in this game over the American ones.
- I really don't like Azure/Inigo's English voice. Too deep, IMO.
- I don't like Chrom and don't get why he's so popular among females. In fact, I have a hard time deciding who he gets to marry in each playthrough because I think his potential wives are a lot better off with other guys.
- I don't have a problem with marrying 2nd generation.
- Male Morgan >>>>>> Female Morgan.
- I think Say'ri and Yen'fay are underrated. Even though they're both horrendously underdeveloped.
- I usually reclass Olivia into a Falcon Knight in my playthroughs.
- Same with Liz and Emmeryn, even though I know that they're better off as Dark Fliers.

I've never done any male MU playthroughs yet, so I've only married Paris/Priam and Yen'fay. I've only married Gangrel and Walhart for completing the support library.

Serge/Cherche joins slightly underleveled, but as mentioned earlier comes with a Hammer in a chapter with a lot of armored units. She has high Str and Def, so unlike Tiamo/Cordelia and Sumia, she can actually take hits. However, her reclass options are kind of meh, benefitting from only Renewal and Dual Support+ IMO. Her Spd is also a bit lower than I'd like, but with Pair-Up and tonics it's not a big problem. She has access to Lancebreaker and Swordbreaker, which contribute towards her Avoid. Deliverer is a nice skill from Griffon Rider, especially since she and her son will be the only ones realistically getting it in a no-grind run.

Olivia usually falls behind movement-wise due to her low movement, especially because of her dancing, although she can get Pass to somewhat make up for it. Nevertheless, she's a dodgetank and can attack back, even though she's not meant for combat. Olivia has nice reclass options, but the skills she gets from them isn't exactly needed if you're reclassing her back into a Dancer (Galeforce is useless if all you're going to do is attack, then dance for other units; Lancefaire has no use outside of the Pegasus Knight class tree; Astra and Lethality have pretty bad activation rates, and she's not supposed to be seeing combat anyway except maybe on the Enemy Phase). She also starts at a low level at nearly halfway through the game and she's likely to stay behind the rest of your units. Her capped Def and Res is also fairly low. Still, she has high Spd and Lck as a Dancer, so she'll usually be dodging attacks anyway and is the only one of her class in the game.
Without Bias - 6/10, With Bias - 5/10

That's why I use the Japanese voicesBut, seriously, the full lines usually come in a place where it makes no sense. Like Sumia's "my love" in her support with Chrom; it gets awkward if they're both married already.

Male Morgan: Ronku/Lon'qu, or at least a dark color...
Female Morgan: Tiamo/Cordelia's red or Olivia's pink
Azure/Inigo: Chrom, it matches his name and outfit.
Cynthia: Frederick, any other color looks weird to me.
Serena/Severa: Doesn't matter, but I usually give her blonde.
Nn/Nah: Purple, goes along well with her eyes.
Jerome/Gerome: Black, so he can be BATMAN. ...White is okay, too.
Owain: Blonde, because of his outfit.
Brady: Same as Serena/Severa.
Noire: Henry's white, because I'm used to pairing him and Sariya/Tharja...
Laurent: Dat hat.
To those that want Lucina's hair color to be different:
- Now, imagine someone with pink hair claiming to be Marth.
- Gotta keep the blue-haired protagonists.
