YES THE WORLD IS FULL OF IDIOTS!!! there are those guys who think that Brawl is a good game, and what about those guys that say that the wii is NOT a kiddie console, those are the idiots because clearly Nintendo is for kidz!! Also the world is full of idiots that think that Obama will actually do something good, or there are idiots too who think that Bush was bad. Really how can you not see that the world is just filled with idiots that make even more idiots. THERE ARE IDIOTS EVERYWHERE!!!! or what about those in high school who instead of bullying people they just studied and be good students, those sure were idiots.

Idiots that don't realize that they are actually idiots are those we have to be careful of. But how can we be sure who is an idiot and who isn't, when we ourselves do idiotic things every now and then, we are humans, idiocy is bound to us.
Someone may think I am an idiot, I may think that he is an idiot, and both of us will be right and wrong seen from each perspective, but at the end the intelligent one will think "does it even matter?" and just continue living....
So yeah thats what I think ...

Silly people, there isn't gonna be a smash bros after this.
I thought there was gonna be another, just that Sakurai wasn't going to be a part of it... or did I just misread.... anyway, if there is another smash I say that neither marth nor ike will make it, the franchise is just too hardcore so Nintendo will just leave the Mario characters and put cookin mama, the elebits, some miis, and any other new casual franchise that is created by the time the new smash gets out. You know because Nintendo is just for the casuals :P
On a more serious note, I think that (again if there is a next smash) it is more likely that Marth stays, and Ike is replaced with the newer Fire emblem protagonist.....

I liked her better in PoR, and ever since I heard her in RD I just didn't like her anymore. I didn't like the lines she say either. So yeah Mia is just meh.

I've realized that something more satisfying than a Meteor Smash kill is a Foot stool jump kill, it feels great to killl someone just by stepping over him. And something even more satisfying is footstool jump AND meteor smash, It feels GREAT!

I guess whining because if they're bragging then at least they have done something worthy to brag about so they have SOME reason I guess. Of course, bragging has its limits
Even if they have done something "worthy" to brag about nobody should brag, it is very annoying. I have a friend who is bragging all the time because he is good at drawing, I like to draw but Im not good at it so he always mocks my drawings, I really can't do anything because he actuallly is good at it. When someone is bragging and being serious about it I reallly have the urge to hit him in the face really hard.
When it comes to whining it is easy to ignore, or even try to help if the whibnign is not that irrational.
IMO whinners don't try to bother anyone (even when some people are bothered that's not their intention) whereas braggers want people to know that they are better than you and more people and brag only to feel superior and really being annoying.

Most of my wi-fi friends no longer play and Brawl wi-fi activity has been down in general.
Isn't it just because Brawl's online suck? I don't care about online so I really wouldn't know if Brawls online has been fixed or at least upgraded. Anyway, Brawl is still a great game with local multiplayer.

We definantly won't see Termina again. OoT Link's story is over.
Hell no! There will be a Zelda game where two Links will be playable and coming the end of the game the major plot twist will be that both Links are the same but from the two different timelines that Oot splits. Then there will be a part in the game where you somehow return to Termina to find an item in the Stone Tower to destroy the Three Goddess realm in Hyrule that has been invaded by the Dark Forces of Ganon.
Ok on a more serious less dreamy post, no I don't think Termina will come back in a new original game, there may be remakes or VC version of MM though.

Yeah because the game knows when you are a noob and make your opponent trip so you can beat him.
My point being that they don't have a better chance of beating better players beacuse both players have the same chance of tripping so, with your kind of logic we can say that tripping is another mechanic put in the game to make better players kill even more humiliating the inexperienced players.
Also if an inexperienced player goes against an experienced one how is he [inexperienced] suppose to win the smash ball over his opponent?
Items, like your smash ball, were created along with tripping to shorten the pro/noob gap. It wasn't about completely flipping the spectrum of skill by making pros terrible and noobs champs. Smash balls unleash 1-hit ko's in some cases, which is bullshit, and tripping can leave you wide open, also bullshit.I guess what I'm trying to say is that your argument that tripping doesn't affect players' ability to do well is wrong because it does. I'll give you the fact that it doesn't dramatically change it enough to help a noob beat a pro, but it can cause a pro to lose a stock to slightly less pro pro in a very stupid, uncool, and unfun way. Also, smash balls were a bad example because anyone who plays competitively turns them mutha fuckers off anyway and they can make a pro lose to a noob.
Hmmm I don't unterstand, first I mentioned the Smash balls just because I was quoting someone that mentioned them first. Also my argument never was that tripping doesn't affect player's ability to do well, my point was that both players -whatever their skill level may be- are vulnerable to tripping and thus making the argument of "tripping is for giving a chance for noob players to win" that I quoted wrong. (which even when those weren't the exact words that was the gist of it)
Anyway I played with my friends yesterday and Im better than them (they don't even have a Wii), the items were set to Hammers, bob ombs, smart bombs, poke balls and smash balls, and it was so freaking fun, but still even with those items on and in any random stage I always won, neither tripping nor final smashes prevented me from winning, and that is because I grabbed the mayority of the FS, pokeballs and bombs. I just lost once because of the items but the match was still great. So FS tripping and items in general just add fun to the game.

I just cleared this chpoater but Im afraid I couldnt get to talk to the BK (though it is my first PT) But I have a question: What happens if I accdentally kill someone of the Brigade?? say Nolan, will he be dead when I return to the Brigade or what?

I loved RD....don't know why so many hated it
I don't hate RD but I didn't really like it at first. My complaints are the support system and the changes from PoR to RD. It is weird that for a sequel they decided to make so many changes.
First the support system: even though it makes more sense to just have some encouraging dialogues in the battlefield the convos suck, they are cheesy, corny, or just dumb, and they don't help to get any character development or background. I think PoR was the best Support system beause they were like the GBA ones but in the base which made more sense.
The changes in the game are what really bothers me. It is a sequel but your characters have changed a lot, Jill is demoted to dracoknight, Mist's pony is gone, Soren can't use staves any longer, and a lot of other classes are changed. I haven't beaten the game yet, still it was because of this changes that discouraged me to play it. (and ironically it was the non-covered spoilers in these boards that encouraged me to play it again... and Im liking it now.)
Also, the game split in four parts wasn't something I liked at first either, but now I think it is something necessary for the game.
In conclussion, there are a lot of changes from PoR to RD (for me at least) but RD being a sequel it really feels weird to get so many things alike like characters and places, but at the same time so many differences with classes, supports and stuff.

This thread is intended to involve discussion regarding individuals' perspective on homosexuality. While religion clearly plays a role in many peoples positions, try to ensure posts don't debate religious points at the cost of relations to the matter at hand.
Sorry to bring the religious part again but I feel I have to reply to this.
I really couldn't care less about people being gay or not, but I am a Christian and i just want to point this out about for the people saying the bible says nothing about loving/hating gay people. First, that's form the Old testament and I really don't think that the Old testament is really valid anymore, becuase in the new testament Jesus come to change some things, for example, Jesus says "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." when a woman was caught in the act of adultery and according to the Law of Moses she had to be stoned. Jesus came to change some things, this is why I don't think the Old testament is valid anymore, if it were then (as said before) it would be okay to commit incest. We cannot choose what is convinient for us to follow. (If someone can find something related to the homosexual theme in the New testament that'd great)
Now on topic, whith what I've read in this thread and my opinion, I am of the ones who think that you are either born gay or straight, you discover which one you are around the age of puberty, and it is your choice wether you follow your born orientation or not. Does it matter why or how this differences are made, not to me.
TBH I'm uncomfortable around gays, even more if they are doing gay stuff, I find it unnatural and just plain weird. But that doesn't mean I have the right to hate/discriminate them.

Id like a replay system at the end of every chapter that allows you to watch how you played it but cutting out the " " phase transitions and that your entire army moves at the same time, as well as the enemy one, the battle animations would be the field ones. That would add a more cinematic touch to each battle.
My original ide was that at the end of the game you could watch all the chapters in this replay mode while the story is being told so it would feel like a movie but it is very complex and I suppose very hard to do.

being the first game released in America it is supposed to be the first FE game to the a lot of people (me included) so it was really nice, in my first playthrough it was really helpful (it taught me how to play dah) and in the next playthorughs you can skip it so it isn't that annoying. Also it has a story and you use characters that you will continue to play with so it really doens't feel like a tutorial.

About the color or the armors, I don't know if this has been said before but it really bothered me that in FE9 Daein had red armors and in FE10 Begnion now had red armors, I understand that it's for game purpose that the enemy army is always red but still I would have liked it better if they sticked with the original armor colors.

See? The game pretty much went out of its way just to tell us that Roy was not, in fact, making a mistake or doing anything wrong, or doing anything that would suggest any flaw in his leadership. And you do make a fair point on the dragons, but I still find it really pathetic that that's the only sign anywhere in the game of Roy not being the perfect leader....
My point still stands. What did you expect Elphin to say? "Roy you are a coward, it was just a freaking harmless dragon, although you've never seen one before in your life" So that really showed that Roy was able to feel fear and did show a flaw in his leadership.
I will still keep looking for more stuff like this because I too think that only one sign of "not being perfect" is weird... though it doesn't bother me at all :P

Ok now this karma bitch just hit me today, I feel happy when bad stuff happens to people right? well today I sat on a table that had fresh paint, not only was I laughed at but my pants got ruined and I liked them.I then sat on a bench in front of the table and hoped for someone else to sit on it and not being alone.... it was so freaking frustrating to be the only idiot who sat on it, everyone else noticed the fresh paint and just go away, arghh.

Soul Calibur, even though I've only played the second one, I can safely assume that 3 and 4 are better. I like SC because of the weapon combat, it is pretty cool and nicely done, even though there are no OMG super ultra powers!!! the combats are intense.
