    How should I play the older FE games?

    pretty much what everyone else said emulators I use an emulator to play them all. But I also played FE4 and FE3 on the actual console I managed to find a Super Famicom from ebay and both FE games. So if you want you could import them. However a super famicom cost quite a bit.. Mmm and not so much the games.. But Thracia 776 argh why!? the prices they are so high is thracia really all that special? but yeah anything but Thracia are pretty easy to obtain physically. Someday thracia I will get my hands on you one of these days.

    I do agree. It's probably the most somber one in the series, however in terms of somber recruitment themes, I like Thracia's best, as it not only has elements of FE4's (my favorite) but also has a bit of a hopeful feel at the same time as the somber one.

    Oh really? ya know now that i think about it I never really paid much mind to the thracia recruitment theme I better go and take a listen to it to see how it sounds.

    Mmm really? no one has said them yet? welp looks like I will. The magic class I think is best is Dark Prince and Queen from FE4 I am shocked they got overlooked everything about those two sprites is just perfect in my opinion their cloths and capes and just the general way they look makes them look powerful and full of ownage Also Dark Prince dodge animation is the best I have seen yet of any FE animation I love how they just fade in and out looks like they are dodging with no effort further showing the power heh.

    My other favorite would be the Necromancer sprite especially the critical hit animation and the cape blow. Ah what can I say I like the mage sprites that look powerful like those as they just scream your doomed when you see them.

    How would you feel if all video games consoles were digital only?

    I would not mind the change of it all I am already partially fully digital. However I would miss getting physical copies of games I mean how else can I show off to friends, family etc. when I import a game from Japan and show them? Lol plus I will miss having the manuals to look at or box art to go and stare at while I am doing nothing.

    But other than that digital all the way as issues you would have with physical copies of games become non existent such as the game getting scratched up or your cartridge stops working.. A good example is my Copy of Fire Emblem:Seisen no Keifu I think my battery is fried as it won`t keep save files anymore if I save the game and turn it back on they are gone. With digital copies of games you don`t have any of the issues none and let`s all be honest we have all wanted our favorite games to last forever but... Everything stops working at some point like my copy of FE4 did so yeah I would not mind as I want my favorites to remain with me forever.

    I still hold on to the dead cartridge though heh the box is awesome and it came with a map of Judgdral.

    Lovers... Shipping or Skills? - FE4

    My setup is generally a combo of both gameplay and shipping. Like most pairings I aim for what is cannon like for example Lex/Ira but other times I prefer other combos such as Noish/Sylvia to make her kids better at fighting really having them both with critical helps some.

    But some pairing end up with good skills anyway like Ira`s kids Lakche and Skasaha will always end up good from what I have seen no matter the pair Lol swordfighters are broken and Starlight Sword will always be with them oh the joys of having a 50 kill hero sword on Lakche she took down entire armies alone.

    Also am I the only one who thinks Holyn and Briggid together is cannon? I don`t know something has been telling me for the longest that pairing is cannon Lol Patty and Faval the more I look at the have some of Holyn`s features gah I am looking too deeply into this but that is another example of skill pair for me As Patty will be a better fighter with Moonlight Sword as she actually really needs it and she gets higher sword ranks.

    So she won`t end up like a certain um thief we know who sucks really bad and needs boss abuse to level up at all.. Dew? sounds a lot like Dew.

    I love the OST of Final Fantasy games they are all just so amazing! I have many favorites from each game I had played.

    What are the absolute limits to ROM hacking?

    Well I am not all that experienced with ROM hacking but I guess there is one limit I have found as I have had bad experiences everytime in nearly every game except FE7. Uhh hacking and changing portraits of your units either strange things happen or just outright crashes I guess it is more than just going through a few nightmare menus to handle portraits. Like say change Wolt to Guinevere the game won`t like that.

    Anyone Know How to Fix This Strange Problem?

    I have been messing around with FE6 for my own personal amusement in Nightmare and I like to change who my units are.. But an odd thing happens when two of the same units are on the map in events where that unit is supposed to leave the map... Why does the game by force take away my unit and not the other like it is supposed to? what the hack I trie deven fixing the character numbers to have them proper Alan is Alan but still has Idoun`s portrait etc. And Idoun is well... the same expet for a few stats, growths etc. changed.. It is almost like they are linked as one.. I even tried swapping Alan`s spot with her but the game will crash if I do that.

    So is there anyway at all to bypass or fix this? I have seen other Rom hacks do portrait change and unit change and their games run like normal no problems.. Heh I would like to well.. keep Idoun but the game says no and takes mine away by force I even made a short video to show it vid is below. You will get to see my Idoun getting taken away.

    Shouzou Kaga Announces New SRPG Studio Indie Project!

    Yeessss!! awesome!! yay!! this is great!!! I am glad Kaga is back! I love his games! all of them! I played all of them and while I still love FE series even now the games seem to lack something that Kaga era games had.. I am not sure what it is but I call it the Kaga touch for now. I am glad he is back even if it is not working on FE again which I had hoped it is still gonna be another SRPG by him go Kaga!

    FE3 or FE4?

    Go for both when I first started playing Super Famicom Fire Emblem games FE3 and FE4 were the first two I ever got. FE4 is the better of the two games but FE3 is great to play too poor FE3 it always seems underrated in the series but it has it`s great points so yeah play both they are amazing in terms of FE3 Book 1 is meh but Book 2 is really good! and the OST there is better too so yeah. Be sure to abuse all arenas to the max in FE3 and use Orb Fragments as they boost growth rates I made even Jeigan type units powerful with them then later slap the Star Orb on someone and abuse the arena all growths +30 I created a full powerhouse team that way.. Heh that is the one of best parts of Book 2 orb abuse.

    So, the new Silent Hill is canceled.

    Wow I didn`t even know that there was a new Silent Hill in the works.. and to hear it is cancelled sucks. I actually like the series I played 1,2 and 3 so far. So due to a fallout at Konami it has been stopped.. I am a bit worried about the future of this series even though it said they will continue making them I still question if they will continue much longer now.
