I feel the same way. I have some vague ideas of what might happen but whether or not its true, I will be looking out for it as I play the game which won't give me the same emotional impact. Just avoid this forum.

Thread hijack I agree, a release date and/or information about regular/special editions would be especially great for the non-spoiler crowd.

Only 6 months left (or more)... Good thing Trails of Cold Steel, Persona 5, and Xenoblade X come out this year.

I never cared for PvP so not much concern there but it will be disappointing for theorycrafting Apotheosis 2.0 or similar insane DLC. It won't be fun when every character could have every skill. Then again, people can still do "no purchased skill"/vanilla runs and what not.

I prefer a darker storyline. I like it when a story has weight with unexpected twists and losses, which Fates seems to have. I know FE would probably not be SMT dark but its a nice change. As long as said twists and losses (if there are any) don't come from thin air, I think I will enjoy it.

This is a little disappointing. Part of what made FE great was trying to figure out how to recruit certain characters without getting them killed or my units killed when using them as bait. Recruiting Amelia and Joshua come to mind from Sacred Stones.

So its basically like the Spotpass teams in Awakening, but the uniqueness makes them better than the generic models of the Spotpass characters. Thanks for the info NeonZ.
