Sonny started to make his way over to them, but wanted to ask Cindy something first, "Say Cindy, why have you been so nice to me from the beginning? People aren't usually so forward with giants like me."

Esmund felt so tempted to hang onto Soles' hand, but he knew it'd probably scare her away. For some reason he had now gotten a protective feeling towards her, ever since he met her. "So I guess we'll just wait together here, it's getting pretty dark so stay close so we don't get lost from eachother!" Esmund got a little closer to her, opening his hand, hoping she would notice it, but if she didn't he'd just pretend he was gonna scratch his side or something.

Sonny ripped a little bit off his shirt sleeve and handed it to Cindy to use as a hankerchief. "Don't cry Cindy, I want to be your friend too!" Sonny put on a smile and lifted her up onto his shoulder. "Now who do you want to go visit? Lead the way!"

Esmund laughed nervously, "Wow, that healing magic was amazing! You should have told me you could do something so awesome! And your eyes lit up and the way the wound just faded, so cool!" Esmund looked at her admiringly. "And sorry about that, I didn't know you had such amazing magic hidden from me, hustle up then!" Esmund laughed as he motioned Soles to follow him. He tried to keep things cheery, as Soles clearly was upset with him.

Sonny sighed "It's not that Cindy... I just am not capable of those kind of feelings... I guess us giants don't really think that way..." Sonny's eyes filled with tears as he remembers how secluded and rejected he's been from society.

Sonny's voice lowered "Cindy, you do realize it's illegal for humans to be with giants right?!" Sonny was terrified someone was listening, he didn't want to get thrown in prison, prison was dark and scary. Dark... cold... damp...the pressure...

Esmund was about to respond to Soles' questions but was interrupted by her nearly falling to the ground. "Oh my gosh Soles are you alright!?" Esmund completely ignored her inability to use her wings properly and helped her stand straight. "Here, we really need to check this out!" he laid her gently on the soft ground, blowing away the dirt first so she wouldn't get her nice clothing and hair dirty. "Hmm... I don't know any healing magic but I'll do my best!" Esmund grabbed the flag off Soles' breasts without even thinking and began to wrap her ankle in it. "There. And I'll carry you the rest of the way, hopefully we can figure something out soon." Esmund hoisted her up on his back and continued walking.

Sonny was confused by Cindy's kiss, was this a human tradition? "Girlfriend? No... I barely even have regular friends..." Sonny felt uncomfortable and began to move a little quicker to get them to the forest. He gently sat her on the ground when they got there and took a seat next to her.

Sonny did not know what to think of Cindy at this point, as he carried her and his hammer out the door he decided to ask "Onii-chan? What's an Onii-chan?" Sonny was really hoping it wasn't an insult.

Esmund blushed when Soles gave him a nickname. "I don't mind it at all... I'm still gonna call you Soles though, I really like your name! And of course I'll watch out for you, it'd be rude for anyone to touch... there" Esmund blushed as his eyes darted away from her bust. Esmund don't be a pervert he thought to himself. He put the gun in his pocket for now and said, "I'll hang onto it for now, but I'm gonna teach you some cool stuff! My dad used to be a light elementalist you know." he winked at her and invited her to walk next to him to the forest.

Esmund felt his heart explode when he learned that he'd be partners Soles. "This'll be fun Soles, I've got plenty of ideas!" He motioned her to follow him. He was practically bouncing up and down he was so excited. He reached into their bag and pulled out a magical looking gun. "I think this one is for you Soles, it looks really awesome!" He placed the pistol in Soles' dainty hands and smiled. He then pulled out two lightweight metal gauntlets out of the bag and put them on. "Hmmm... I wonder what sort of magic I can do with something like this? Doesn't seem like much of a weapon..." Esmund thought for a second, but perked up when a flood of ideas rushed into his head. He took out the pink flag and handed it to Soles. "Here, to match your lipgloss." Esmund nudged her coquettishly and chuckled.

Sonny walked over to bag number four, with Cindy still on his back. "Say Cindy, take a look in here!" Sonny pulled out a giant hammer and held it with ease in one hand, twirling it around.
"Pretty neat!" Sonny handed a little tiny wand carefully to Cindy. As he handed it to her, he reached into the bag and tied the flag around his forehead. "This should be a good place, nice and high up!" Sonny blew the flag out of his eyes and adjusted it a little better.

A shadow cast over the main doorways to the Lobby and a large shadowy figure rose from the shadows, only his silhouette could be seen.
Thank you for finally joining us Felina and Aria. *Ahem* I am Headmaster Barron. It is not time for me to introduce myself yet, but rather time for a bit of a game. Each of you will find a number on the back of your ID cards. Find the student with the same number as you and pair up. (several bags appear with the numbers on them) You will grab the bag with your number and find a flag for your team and two weapons specifically chosen for you and your partner. You may not alter your weapon, or else it will turn to dust. Your flag must also be kept visible by others at all times, no covering it up. You will all meet in the forest behind the boarding house and wait there next to your partner for further instructions. (The shadow disappears and the room is empty except for the students and the bags)

Esmund sighed with relief that she didn't get too upset with him. He felt tingly inside and his whole body felt excited when Soles touched him. "I'm three too...." he said quietly as she made her way back to her original seat. Esmund plopped himself on the ground and his head was filled with thoughts of Soles. He was really hoping they'd do something together since their numbers matched.

Sonny was thankful that Cindy helped out with his headache. "I tried helping him up earlier and he was very rude to me... but I suppose it can't hurt to try again?" He stood up and slowly walked over to Chris with Cindy hanging off his back. "Hey... we met earlier but we didn't get a great start. I'm Sonny and this is Cindy. What's your name?"

Esmund felt tears about to well up in his eyes. He was such an idiot, always coming on way too strong. "I'm really sorry Soles... I just thought I'd let you have some fun... you don't look disgusting at all..." He gently touched her hair, and with a flick of his wrist, the wind gently brushed her hair back into style. "There ya go. A little trick my mom used to use when I was little for all our hair. Sorry for upsetting you Soles, I'll get out of your hair." he put on a somewhat defeated looking smile and sauntered over to a wall to sit by himself.

Sonny froze up as Cindy hugged him, feeling confused because he's not used to people being so comfortable around him. "Well there was just some yelling and Feanor got punched...it gives me a headache just thinking about it." Sonny sighed and covered his eyes with his hand, rubbing his temples to get rid of his frustration.

Esmund scooted closer to her, touching his arm to hers. "Wow those wings... they're absolutely beautiful." he admired them for a moment as Soles revealed her fear. "You're afraid of the dark? That's okay Soles, we all have fears like that. Just stay close to me and you won't get lost!" He smiled at her, and his eyes gleamed bright in the setting sun. He couldn't stop being so friendly to her, she just had this magnetizing way about her.
