I disagree completely, as it is my favorite supporting class (low resist, sure, but give resist +10 [really easy to get skill slots for support units] or just pair with a dread fighter and you're gold, personally, I am considering a dual guarding build, and it equates that about half the time, there will be a Dualguard.

You're going into full magic team mode... Though I see where you're coming from. My main problem with bow knight is how tiny their defense/resist is.

Excuse me?? Can we get back on topic? I am we'll aware than Lucina and gerome have subpar support conversations. But their classes fill in for the stats that they are lacking Gerome's wyvern speed, and lucina's neglecting defense. These two make each other powerful as the Other's supporter Lucina's rightful king making her dualguards and Dualstrike 20% more effective if she is support, while making an equally fine front liner Gerome is the same way, SO SERIOUSLY? This caused me to realize... Lucina as a support... Paladin or bk?

huh... TBH the only reason I was against moving to BK was for lower skill (by 3 in fact) I see... yeah, double bow knights is looking a lot more sexy now. Wait... should chrom be a bow knight or a dread fighter (really wish they were either called "dread Lord" or "dread Knight") for either... what would be his skills?

Both bow knights? That's... not an answer i would've expected... I get for movespeed, but they're inferior in all other ways IMO, please elaborate. Wait... is it because you can still range, while braving? because that would make sense on the main unit, and give the support unit a different weapon (maybe melee)

Okay then... which bow after i max out armsthrift? (thinking about maybe switching luna for for armsthrift and using the astra bow, bad idea?

I see everyone's suggestions, but i'm a little iffy on bows to be honest, and I find them quite possibly the weakest weapons in the game as a whole, have i been misled?

Alright, I need to get this one down, because i've been a foot in each of them for a week now. First, I need to know if Stahl!Severa, And Chrom inigo, are a great couple (support and bonuses) Second, I need to know which skills (in parenthesis) Severa should choose out of Galeforce, (luna/Astra/Sol), armsthrift, LimitBreaker, (Vantage, Dualguard) I really only want one proc skill, and If she's in front, she's probably gonna use Sol if in back, she gets luna or astra, if she's in front, she gets vantage, if she's in back, she dualguards And Inigo Galeforce, Limitbreaker, (Rightful King, Armsthrift), (dualguard, Vantage, Armsthrift), (Astra/sol) Same deal, Scratch Luna, because Inigo gets more skill to activate astra a lot more. feel free to refute everything, they practically trade eachother's roles. Third, I need their Roles, note that I don't feel that Either of these two should go magic, save to grab skills, you may present said skills, because these are jus skills that I thought would fit best. finally, I am in need of Classes. I refuse to move inigo to dread fighter unless you tell me WHY? He really loses a lot of skill for just tomes, and I have more magic users than not. Same goes for dark flier severa, I see no point in it. Now for their classes I'm thinking for main unit would go Hero, while either a bow knight, Paladin, or great knight supports, thoughts?

Well, if you're marrying Mu and Chrom, than you'll probably want your kids to be physical. Now, the go-to assets and flaws are Magic, Luck, and...i think that may be it...? your kids will have any skill at their disposal, and Morgan will receive a beautiful Rightful King. If you want your children to be physical period, then you should put down your magic considerably, especially in a Lunatic+ environment. this means you have committed entirely to the physical line, and can only get your magic class skills from inheritance or grinding, and grinding is just boring and tedious. Keep in mind that... Awakening did something very wrong when they made it imperative that you have 2 ranged weapons. this limited people to magic classes and manaketes..... and made physical units mainly for support. but back on topic, my suggestion is speed and magic, for Morgan will already get rightful King, and Lucina just hits aether regardless.

Thanks man, I ran the numbers, searched online, looked at the classes... I get really bored, and optimizing is one of my favorite things to do. And gerome is just gonna be a Support unit Dualguard Aggressor Dualsupport Limit Breaker (Luna/Deliverer) Anyway, I've split my file in two, one going with Chrom! Brady, the other right before you get maribelle, and is going for Chrom Inigo, and MU! Tharja. We all know which is gonna be more effective.

Inigo is bad, in fact, it'll probable be way better in terms of the 2nd gen kids The main reason for this is to get a magically powerful morgan with Aether, while still proving is in fact more badass than some of his other dads. All that I'm saying is that this Lucina! Morgan will result in a somewhat superior morgan skill-wise to Ricken! Noire! Morgan, losing 3 magic mod for superior other stats and Aether. This allows you to use her as a Sorc and Ruin instead of nosferatanking. As Brady! Morgan, you can do the same thing, substituted Aether for RK Astra Nosferatank. As RickenNoireMorgan... You can do that substitute Rk for something actually Relevant. Anyway... IDK... I'm just doing an experimental Run.

I have Used Kellam! Yarne before, and I can tell you just to pass down pavise. Yes, he'll be a support unit, but the big problem that I had with getting Yarne was that he would die getting to me... so if I hit him back, he'd usually survive. Idk worked really well for me, because you're gonna send him down Great Knight Anyway. Another interesting one would be Renewal, since he'd.. have no practical use for it... Just give him dat pavise.

I hate having to reiterate the fact that people seem to have forgotten why class overlap is bad. It's because of lack of skills, but if he gets exactly what he needs from the classes that he DOES get, then there is no issue, at all. It is also true that Inigo's best father is Chrom, and since I have tried that pair, I know how much Inigo really benefits from chrom. However, if you paired Olivia with say... kellam, he'd get everything from chrom, save Rk, and archer. Or Lon'qu and miss out on Luna in exchange for great mods or... Whatever Lon'qu gives him.

Probably due to Chrom's mods being somewhat mediocre and wasting a Luna (though, to be fair, all his kids but Inigo waste Luna). The class inheritance is horribly inefficient, so people tend to look elsewhere for Brady pairings despite Brady being unfuckable and Lucina being at her most versatile with Maribelle. Well... I guess you're right, at least a few of us know the truth, eh? I really appreciate your input, and I have decided to marry chrom and Maribelle, Mu and Lucina for the best magical Unit that I can think of while still using the best proc for damage and healing. My pairings are Chrom and maribelle Lon'qu and Olivia, Libra and lissa Gregor and miriel Stahl and Cordelia Frederick and cherche Gaius and nowi Ricken and tharja(meh) Donnel and sully Mu and Lucina Sumia and Henry Kellam and panne Did I miss anyone?

I see where you're getting at. True, she does fit as a bruiser that can take a beating, but... Idk, I like people to have cut and dry roles. Owain as the best hybrid Kjelle and nah as the best tanks Lucina as a Guerilla or dark flier support Cynthia as Dark flier support. You get the idea.
