  1. Please tell me you are a "greens are better for you than meat" vegetarian and not a "save the poor little animals" vegetarian.

Actually, it is most likely the latter.

We read a book in fifth grade- I find it responsible.

Not that a lot of meat actually tastes good anyway.

  2. The Headmaster looked up and saw two more armored soldiers charging him. Each wielded a spear.

"DIE!" one screamed, throwing a javelin with inhuman strength.

The Headmaster moved to the side, and it blurred past his ear.

He jumped up as one of the soldiers thrust their spear at his side, and ran the length of the spear.

Unexpectedly, when he reached the soldier, the soldier rolled under his spear and kicked up, hitting the Headmaster in the chest. The Headmaster jumped back, and landing on his feet, coughed.

I totally forgot about the other soldier! He realized, and rolled to the side, getting a great view of the spear that would've brained him. He kicked out, and the soldier began to roll down the hill, his armor giving speed to his fall, until he hit a rock, bounced, and landed in the middle of the battle below.

The armor was unmarked, but the soldier didn't get up.

"Brother!" the other soldier shouted. "You'll pay for that!" he screeched, charging the Headmaster with wild abandon.

The Headmaster simply ducked under the spear, tripped the Impenetrable with his halberd, and as the Impenetrable's armor was too heavy for him to get up, he was unable to avoid the pointed end of the halberd, which drove deep into his neck.

    He didn't get up.

There were still a dozen more Impenetrables, and the Headmaster was already tired.

"Well, this should be interesting," he remarked, readying his halberd for battle yet again.

An Impenetrable, armed with a large sword, suddenly appeared behind him, but the Headmaster was ready for that. He spun, and the Impenetrable was dead before he hit the ground, sliding into two.

"Not so impenetrable now, are you?" asked the Headmaster.

"You're halberd... it is of graysteel, is it not?" asked the female voice.

    "Yeah, so?"

"That belonged to the former leader of the Renais Impenetrables."

"Yeah, so? Get to the point."

    "You killed him."

    "Again, I repeat, yeah, so?"

"DIE!" she screeched, and all the Impenetrables charged the Headmaster.

Drael and Assren, along with two other students, were the last ones left.

There had been a surprise assault from behind, and the people wore armor that Drael could not pierce. He threw his sword away, getting ready for an assault on the Impenetrable Swordsman he now faced.

He feinted for the head with his fist, but at the last moment, spin-kicked the man's arm. There was an audible snap of bones, and he dropped his sword.

    His greysteel sword.

Drael picked it up, and could see Assren doing the same with an axe.

At the same moment, their blows struck their enemy in front of them, piercing through the greysteel and killing them.

At the same moment, the other two students were killed by a spearman, dying on the ground.

  3. It was chaos outside the small school.

Hundreds of peasant-looking people stood outside, raising torches and yelling.

    "Bring out the leader!"

    "He's corrupting the youth!"

    "For the Impenetrables!"

As soon as they saw Assren and Drael step out, they yelled and charged.

"What the hell?" Drael asked. He ducked a clumsily swung sickle, and swung his blade, knocking back the first line in front of him. Next to him, Assren slashed wildly, and enemies fell before him.

Drael flexed his palm and a blast of light flew out, knocking back enemies.

Behind him, dozens more students charged out, each armed to the teeth and yelling wildly.

    --------------------------------------------------------

The figures, clad in grey, lifeless armor, stood upon the hill, watching as the skirmish erupted into full battle behind them.

"With any luck," a female voice began, "This will wipe out the Secret Service of Renais for good."

"With any luck," a different voice said from behind them, "but you seem not to have much, for I am behind you."

The headmaster held a greysteel Halberd, and twirled it above his head before launching into an attack.

"This will be the end of the Renais Impenetrables!" he shouted, slashing at one.

The Impenetrables, who also moved with inhuman speed, jumped away.

An Impenetrable Archer raised his bow, but his head suddenly rolled away, and the headless corpse fell to the ground, while the headmaster moved onto his next target.

The fighting became a blur. The warriors dashed and clashed with each other.

An Impenetrable Warrior, holding an axe, cried out, "We will never fall! Fool! You can't kill all of us!"

A grey blur smashed into him, and his chest armor caved in, a halberd killing him instantly.

    "You wish..."

  4. "I didn't fiddle with locks to be stopped by the likes of you," Vrai muttered. He squirmed free, then feinted to the left with his right fist. With his left, he snitched back his sword. "I need the money that gem can get me," he said, preparing for a fight. He was trying to look determined, but his face was desperate.

  5. Nimbly, Vrai rolled before he hit the ground, and whirled around, a sword suddenly appearing in his hands. The guards, distracted by the sword, were suddenly punched in the face by the fast rogue.

They hit the dirt, unconcious, and Vrai continued running.

  6. "Aaaaaargh!"

Drael became alert as a scream rang out. Assren instantly took out his wooden axe.

A call rang out, "All students to the Armory!"

Without a moment's hesitation, Drael and Assren turned and dashed to a plain-looking stone building.

"What's going on, do you think?" Drael asked Assren.

    "How should I know?"

    "I'm not sure!"

They ran inside the Armory, the first two there.

"You two!" A voice suddenly said.

They turned, to see the Headmaster.

"Arm yourselves! We are under attack!"

Drael's mind whirled as he selected a heavy sword. Under attack? But this place is supposed to be a secret! What's going on?

A voice suddenly pervaded his thought. "Hurry up and defend the school!"

Drael and Assren, armed with a wicked looking axe, turned at once and gave the correct response.

    "Sir, yes sir!"

They charged out of the armory, to defend the only home they had ever known.
