You forgot Galuf's very strong loyalty to his friends. When given the opportunity to flee from the Siren and keep his life, he is willing to stay and fight to protect the rest of the group. Galuf also has his sense of humor that gets along well with his friends ("...Don't push it, kid. Here in Bal, bad jokes like that will get you PUNished..." "That pun is so bad, I'm gonna fall on purpose...".) There is also indication he isn't big on planning ahead (1: Steal pirate ship 2:???).

Given how disturbingly artificial TES is, ESPECIALLY the NPCS, I question the idea anyone there is a "person", but that's a topic for another day. What is on topic is how Skyrim just made any NPC the player can enter a romantic relationship with bi-sexual (or at least player-sexual), which I feel is a cheep cop-out. I think the only games I've played with a gay main character (that weren't just hopping on the "Make every love intrest bi-sexual for inclusive points") are the Swordcraft Story games, GrimGrimoire and Fear Effect 2 (which was done PURELY for a love triangle over a love arrow...). Swordcraft Story, for a game most famous for this it handles it better than Bioware has ever done (whos first actually gay and not player sexual character that wasn't cut because Lucasarts has no characterization beyond "dead husband bahhhh"). The (regular) jokes about it are pretty much all at how transparent Pratty's attempt to stay in the closet, despite various freudian slips, are rather than her sexuality itself. As the game progresses further, the closet jokes start to vanish and she openly gets excited over women ("The lovely twin sisters!") and will even accept the marriage proposals (!) of two women in her endings with them.

I personally liked FE7 ATTEMPTING to do something other than "evil country invades". It falls flat on its face (Assassin's guild with frontline fighters worthy of a small army!), but it at least tried (even if it was forced to by being a prequel of a game that stated it hadn't seen war recently). May have been fixed by introducing Morphs earlier, even if they weren't IDed as such ("Black Fang?" as a designation with 0 luck for instance)

ESPECIALLY Guillo. I don't think I ever skipped an Guillo dialog without listening to the full audio clip. And honestly, if you turn on surround sound in Eternal Wings (so you don't get the distorted filter), the main cast is pretty bearable, with deliciously cheesy battle quotes.

I don't know how much Nintendo expected Baten Kaitos: Origins to sell, being the last non-licensed non-sport title on the GCN, but I felt it had some of the best non-Bloodlines voice acting ever.
