Using one would take all the fun away from trial and error (or several hours of gameplay). Now, for different games like Pokemon, I do have to refer to online walkthroughs to help me solve riddles and stuff, because that's just plain hard. I agree with the Pokemon thing. Did any of us know instinctively to beat the game once, get Nils to level 7 the second time through (assuming you knew to start over in Lyn's mode again), choose Hector's path and then haul ass over to Kishuna in an extra chapter, all to get the dragon kids' origin chapter? uguu Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Dr. D, I think by strategies Emerald Fox meant beating chapters, not getting secret items and stuff. Also, I find the puzzles in Bogeemanz easy, but in games like ToS it's a different story, I had to use an online guide multiple times. Rehab Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 I consider having to level character x y amount of levels to get whatever outcome to be a strategy, in a way. It's not quite like leveling the lords enough to beat the endgame bosses (which I am aware can be beaten with Athos), but it's still changing how you might otherwise play the game somehow.
