I was thinking more along the lines of it making you think of a princess trapped in a castle and then you just go tearing into the opponents...

Wow.........that's..............sound so lame... >.>

Maybe they were used by past heroes, just like Skasha said.

Desperation Attacks, perhaps.

Gee, thanks for being supportive, woman...

Probably

Or maybe Hero weapons are a class of weapons that have been blessed for heros.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Yeah, that actually sounds reasonable to me too.

Actually, since it's called a Hero Sword in all the preGBA games, I'll bet it makes them feel heroic. Same basic concept and outcome, but a very different feeling, I'm guessing.

I thought it 'Heroes' not 'Hero' :/

So they are like the 12 Crusaders, but just non-holy blood cheapos?

I mean, to make something move 2 or 3 more times than usual, it's magic.

Also, the GBA's Zabato/Longsword are quite different from the real one. the GBA ones are just like the normal one, but it's jut larger.

The real one is HUGE, to the point you could use it as a lance.

My question is, how the hell does Frey, who has facial hair, get away with being a decoy for somebody who has no facial hair?
They were quite a distance away when they spotted "Marth" (Frey). They probably couldn't see the facial hair.

If you are thinking about zanbatos like Sanosuke's in Rurouni Kenshin, that is a special king of zanbato. ^^; Zanbatos can also be katanas with a freakishly huge ricasso, and can still be used as a sword, but can double a lance. What would have been interesting is if lance and sword users could use it.

Do you mean as in "Heroes Sword" not "Hero Sword"?

It's the same thing, since it's Yuusha no Tsurugi/Ken in Japanese, which literally means "Sword of Hero", but "Hero" can be singular, plural, etc.

But what of when they get up close and the decoy's map sprite doesn't change until the very last moment when he's surrounded? Surely they would've noticed well before they changed map sprites...

Nope, This Zanbato.

Although a sword with a HUGE blade could work too.

And yes, it would be a double class weapon.

In the Japanese version of Radiant Dawn Micaiah's Third Tier job was called "Shaman."

Light magic users in FE 4 and 5 were Shamans. They also used staves ( and Fire/Wind/Thunder ) and promoted to Sages.

Heh, did not know that. I've only played 6-10. Thanks for the info.

You know, FE9/10 borrow quite a bit from FE4/5. You should consider playing them.

I'll look into them. Thanks.

yup, but I actually say that they improve what they borrowed...

I would hope so.

Found two one both in FE1/3/11:

- Myrrh asks Ephraim if she can call him "brother", same for Marth with Tiki (in the Japanese version, in european vers. it's "Mar-Mar") ; both princes refuse at the first time but give it up .

-Cheine uses "Boku" to refer to himself in the manga version and NES too. But in FEDS he uses "Ore" instead

(Also a proof that he is a man >_>)

Actually they are cases of girls using "boku" and "ore." It's just rare.

There's even a "bokukko" term used to define such tomboys. One example is Arle from Puyo Puyo.

Either way, Chainey has always been an effeminate guy.
