That's the differance in our play style you use the holy weapons often, I don't. I know they can but Shanan really isn't that great without the Balmung. EVERYONE CAN USE THE ARENA EQUALLY. IT'S NOT FAVORITISM SINCE IT'S NOT FAVORING ONE UNIT OVER THE OTHER. You can use Shanan to kill stuff in the Arena with his Steel Blade via Meteor Sword + Continue. He has good enough avoid and skill and strength to kill everything.
