luigi bros Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 Here's why: Hector's growths are: HP:90 Strength/Magic:60 Skill:45 Speed:35 Luck:30 Defense:50 Resistance:25 Lillina's growths are: HP:45 Strength/Magic:75 Skill:20 Speed:35 Luck:50 Defense:10 Resistance:35 Usung FE4's inheritance calculation Hector would pass on: HP:45 Strength/Magic:30 Skill:22 Speed:17 Luck:15 Defense:25 Resistance: 12 So Lillina's mothers growths would be: HP:0 Strength/Magic:45 Skill:-2 Speed:18 Luck:35 Defense:-15 Resistance:23 That's bad. Health: 115%, Strength/Magic: 70%, Skill: 82.5%, Speed: 77.5%, Luck: 70%, Defence: 45%, Resistance: 42.5% And since both units are melee units, Lilina seems more suited for the Myrmidon or Nomad classes judging by these growths, but Mage may work too. It was a little idea I thought of going with the "What if FE6 characters's growths were determined by FE7 pairings like how FE4's second gen character growths are determined by FE4 first gen pairings. (With luigi bros. credited for making me think about it.) One of the reasons why I thought of the "what if Lilina was a Myrmidon or Nomad" idea, was from me taking into account that: 1. All of Hector's possible pairings are melee units. 2. It's a little difficult to determine magic growths due to magic and strength sharing the same slot in the GBA games.
