I'm afraid I have to agree with Ein - overpowered enemies are one thing, but randomly giving said enemies overpowered skills to boot, to the point where I'm playing what's essentially the strategy game equivalent of a casino??? That ain't cool.

Well, I do like to gamble, but even so you can't deny that the feeling of coming up with a strategy on the fly, then adapting that strategy as the chapter progresses and seeing it succeed is something you can't get in any other mode. I remember in chapter 3 I was kiting the enemies around since 3 had luna+ and pass and no one on my team could take a hit after opening the door while at the same time chipping away at the boss and it felt brilliant.

Well, this is just me, but we're talking about something that is largely not so different from Swagger - it takes the game and turns it into RNG roulette. Now if I wanted to gamble like that, I'd go to a casino. Especially since I frown upon Counter being given out like Halloween candy. Oh, and personally, that feeling you describe is one that I'd play some other game if I really wanted to feel it.

May or may not consider raising Donnel to be worth it.
