I know you dislike low Luck characters, but Lucius is really good when he supports other great units. Knows Sothe is amzing. Amazingly crappy. Said supports do crap for him for the most part; the only support that really does anything for him is Raven (who I don't give a damn about). You overrate Ellen with her huge Luck, it just gives her higher Avo, but not AS, Saul will only be haing -7 Abo than her. Uses Lyndis.
