Ewan isn't that good; his growths are lower than almost the entire Sacred Stones cast. As for Canas, Knoll, and Ray, they're dark mages, and you already know that I have quite a bit of vitriol towards those losers. Also, Knoll comes late and is in a game where dark magic is absolute crap. Saul... Blame Rhys for killing my respect for male healers. I've had it in Ch 23 before. Oh. I was off by one chapter. Funny you call me out on ignoring the fact that Ewan's a trainee when you ignore the fact that Ewan comes late. In addition, he gets outshined by others growth wise. None of his growths are higher than 50, as opposed to, say, Eirika, who has 3 60% growths and a 70% growth. And for all that training, Ewan doesn't even turn out very good.
