Maybe. But doesn't unlocking it require giving Reiche the three mushrooms that you find in 3-1 without getting the Mushroom Book? (Or is it the Item Manual that I'm not supposed to have?) Knows that if you deflate the big mushroom in 3-1, everyone except Serene will take 15% damage to their max HP when you return to that map (though it's not that bad since one screen to the left of that screen is a big flower that will heal you).
