It's also not a good idea unless you're planning on going Uber Fayt and intend to raise your defense high enough to negate every possible attack up to and including the last bonus boss.

(The follow set-up tends to work a lot better for Nel or Maria:

Knows that Uber Fayt is still broken though, but only works on the lower difficulties (and Universe with Protection Magic).

Also knows who else uses said attack.

Knows that Ur-Child uses Rest to recover exactly 271 HP and uses Solitude the next turn which that deals more damage depending on how many party members are alive which means game over if you do not use Painless or bind the appropriate body part to prevent the attack.
