(The only thing I know about GEN is that the higher it is, the longer you're stinned if you get a critical hit.) GEN affects the damage resisted on the opening hit, TEC affects damage dealt by Cards, ATK affects attack speed as well, LUCK affects the probability of dealing or resisting critical hits. I could've figured that you'd need to defeat an enemy with someone with equal or greater LUCK by the fact that one of my runs of the second battle had Inzaghi drop a Leather Hat once Milanor defated him, but when I had Yggdra defeat him on another run...
