Ike-Mike Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=4017.0 Spelunky is a mix between platformer and roguelike as you are platforming, killing enemies, collecting treasure and occasionally rescuing damels-in-distress on your way, but the levels are randomly generated and danger is on every corner. You can be very creative on how to beat the levels too as you have such items as a whip, rope and bombs at your disposal. You can annoy and even the shopkeeper too. While the game does have an ending and you will die more often than see it this is one of the games where the means to an end and not the ending itself count as the game's "story" is told by you playing it. Last but not least, the guys at Eegra.com recommend it at every opportunity they get and their recommendations have yet to fail me.
