Maybe in older Tekken games, but Tekken 6 actually has more skill built in. For example, a good Bob player will have that fatass rolling circles around nearly everyone. Just six, actually. Asuka and her button-masher killing Counters were introduced in 5, and Tekken Tag Tournament is the only gaiden game. Tekken has a beat-em-up mode built into every game since 3, so it's really not just a fighter... And 6's cutscenes border on MGS's cutscene length... I don't care.
