I think it's just my natural preferences that kill heavy ships for me. Even on tracks made for them, it's just less enjoyable for me. I like quick turning and am not as good at drifting as most at equal playing levels. I can do it, but far from perfectly. I never understood the appeal to it. I'm not a fan of the music and the race is just so boring with those three slim and long corridors all the time. Never had much issues with it unless I tried to kill the AI racers. Good old GX Story mode, chapter 7 on Very Hard. But then again by the end of my playing run, even that was easy to me. I think I even pulled it off in two tries in this thread loooooooooooooooong ago. Sirius was in disbelief. I am not so experienced in racing games, let alone F-Zero, so I don't have the biggest notion of how hard that shit is. Although I heard that the AI is fucking obnoxious in those games. Although I heard that the AI is fucking obnoxious in those games. 3/4/5 laps depending of the difficulty, ice plates near areas with no guardrails, lava pits, a slim road with no guardrails, a mine field, and cruel AI frome veryone, including crappy racers like Leon. Blood Falcon stays in the top 6 until you kill him, Black Shadow gets there easily unless you kill him (you start 28th, he's right behind you) and both The Skull and Zoda should be in the top 6 fairly often.
