Unfortunately, most fan translators aren't nearly as clever or funny as they think they are, so the jokes end up being forced and unfunny. The people who are draconian enough to think that censoring even the most mild of profanity is a good idea or the guy I once saw who thought that adding excessive profanity the FE6 translation would attract more adult players.
