Icon of Sin
I found the path to the Valley of Snakes, but I was currently exploring the (I think it is called) "Old Underground" in the Lost City when my game crashed. =___= The Antiques Tunnel, I believe. You play it in French I suppose? The translation is alright but some items have ridiculous names, like Bloodfist is now "Poing Horadrim". WTF? TheEnd
And that is why D2's "save only when you quit! :D" system sucks completely. I agree with that. I was disappointed not being able to save everywhere like in the first one. They could at least have implemented a save point system. Hopefully D3 (lol2011) will have that fixed. Talking about bad translations, have you played the French version of FE7?

Icon of Sin
Light Rune -> Rune de Feu Forblaze -> Eclair Rienflèche -> Arbalète Halberd -> Not translated orz Interesting. I wonder why they didn't call Light Rune "Rune légère". I swear I saw this translation of light->légère in another game, and they made it even worse with dark->lourd. Any other gold like that in other games?

Marthur
Not in games but some anime like Hokuto no Ken. They renamed the Hokuto clan as Hokuto de cuisine (literally, kitchen knives). Silly translators. To be fair, it was in the late 80s and they tried to make the show more oriented toward children. That didn't help though. The anime was censored from French televisions after the first episode was aired...

I can at least translate this one: « Les temps comme les œufs sont durs ! Et la bêtise n'a pas de limite. » "Times are hard as eggs! And stupidity has no limit." ^As you can see, a lot of the "jokes" have to do with cooking
