Rei Rei
Nothing says fair like Gary having a Pidgeotto one level before a Pidgey actually evolves. Lance, man. Dragonair with Barrier, Aerodactyl with Rock Slide, 3 level 47-50 Dragonites. That too, but you would expect that from the motherfuckin boss. NoNameAtAll
Well, that's how Trainer Metapods have been since R/B/G/Y. And I know that. About the level I mean. Bugsy. Trainer. Not Gym Leader. Gym Leaders are trainers. They are not random Joe Shmoe trainers. They actually have their pokemon with more unique movesets. So to speak. I know, I played R/B. And I also know that generic trainers seldom have pokes with custom movesets. In other words: we've played the game too, and we aren't idiots. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. Honest. :( Though some trainers like to cheat. Some trainers with haxxed Level 16 Raticates. Hell, even BLUE had a haxxed level 16 Raticate before his Game Shark broke at the Pokemon Tower. They kind of fixed that later though, by putting level 15/16 Raticates in the wild. In R/B, however... In FR/LG even. Though they at least fixed one of the Rocket Grunts in Mt. Moon who had a Level 16 haxxed Raticate. Y'know, where it would be the most devastating (And it could too. Hyper Fang. :\)

TheEnd
Or Falkner with a lv 9 Pidgeotto. XD There are lv7-9 Pidgeottos in Viridian Forest, though. In FR/LG even. The 1st gen games were never remade.

Canonically fits the anime 8D That too, but you would expect that from the motherfuckin boss. Lance is hax. He has a level 40 Dragonite when you're attacking Team Rocket in HGSS. Damn. But Ash was based off Red, just like Gary was based off Blue. So what if someone wants to call Blue "Gary"? There's no place for Pokémon elitism in the FE4 THREAD. Lux Aeterna
Gary is STILL Blue in America, though. Yeah, but it would make sense he wasn't called Green. Green is for Japan only. They wanted it to make sense. They'd be confused if he was called Green. Blue/Red/Green are still completely unoriginal names, anyway you look at it. Altera the Hun
Gary's based on Blue, not the other way around. You say that like I was saying otherwise. If anything, Gary is just Blue/JapaneseGreen renamed. Also, for future reference, if you're confused on who is who, look at their eyes. Except in the anime, Ash/Red's are red, Gary/Green's are green, and Leaf/Blue's are Blue. This extends to ALL of the mains and rivals, actually. Exception being Crystal, for obvious reasons (Mainly, Crystal is actually two seperate people...)

I do believe there's no room for elitism to speak of it the FE4 THREAD. : P Well, that's my take on it anyway. while Red is a badass with a Level 88 Pikachu. I think it's 81. In HG and SS it may different, though.
