I got one, it's after the 5th Gym. In an electric Cave.

Actually, since you get revives once you hit...the 4th gym? Things might work out for you Joey, also the Pokemon you can catch are fairly close to the Gym's pokemon. I regret training.

Well, 5-6 levels lower but it's a start. All it takes to potentially end this is for the pokemon available in the area to not be strong against the type the gym leader uses(and even then, they can throw curveballs in terms of move-types iirc). Also I can't just buy a shitton of revives as my funds are already usually somewhat tight from having to buy more potions/pokeballs than usual.
