Anticlimactic time travel bullshit is the same reason why I keep killing Vera in Apollo Justice. Well, then again, I can't stop you from having an opinion... But it's not time travel. It's using the morphogenetic fields to send thoughts through time. And to me, it was quite climactic, not to mention the true ending tied all the other endings together very well. Characters, great. Snake and 4chan were among the best. Music, nothing memorable. Puzzles, I was expecting fun puzzles. Endings, well this is kind of nice, actual backstory. Safe end, this is the real ending. Nope, this is the real ending. True End, all of my dislike. It's not that the true ending didn't make sense with all that happened. It did, the random talks were very obvious about it. I just completely disagree with it. This wouldn't be a problem if it were any other ending like in a VN where the ending completely changes depending on the route, but this was a linear story and that was the true ending; how the game was meant to be presented and where the final message was held. I've been holding off from playing Ghost Trick for that exact same reason. Play iiiit. I didn't care much about 999 too to be honest (I didn't like Jumpei and June), but Ghost Trick is a completely different story. And the puzzles are fun unlike 999.
