I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN

Nah, okay, maybe a little

Always planned, isn't it!

HI I'M BACK

GOOD NTG

*patpat*

Not always, but this time...!

WELCOME BACK but I'll be gone in <10 minutes, sadly ;__;

Everyone. Thankfully this virus doesn't close notepad, so I can just c + p my post to there. A virus is attacking my computer that causes browsers to close, that causes messengers to close... basically I think anything that connects to the internet ends up closing itself, because norton and notepad are working. I'm not sure what I should do, but if push comes to shove... I can wipe my computer and restart, but... I don't want to do that yet again.

What should I do?

Oh my.

@Pride, that's what I mean by system wipe. Ugh, I hate doing it though...

Wipe is more like format, not restore.

They aren't the same thing Lux.

Although, I must say, system restore never worked on any of my previous computers.

A comprehensive system scan with norton has found and fixed 14 risks so far. Not the browser one, but perhaps it'll be enough this time...

Well uh good luck bro

Although, I must say, system restore never worked on any of my previous computers.

It was magic on my XP computer, but never did anything on any other computer ever.

It would be quite cheesy if I claimed that everything is part of my plan, wouldn't it?

Yep. o:

Hmm, you're quite right.

Your attempts of sounding knowledgeable have just been ruined.

Nope...The virus' that I have to fight, are generally the scam type that tell the user that important windows files are infected files or virus programs (aka, they list important windows files as being the bad files, a normal user won't know what the files are). They then open up to a scam site and say...here buy this anti-virus program to get rid of them.

I know System 32 is a folder, but you seriously don't want to mess with the files in there. Hence the reason I was asking if it deleted system 32 or was just saying the that files are infected/corrupted/virus.
