I think the DSTWO flashcards has working SNES emulation for FE games though. And GBA games too. Anyway, get NeoDS emulator. There's actually an NES emulator that can run gaiden but when I tried with a translated game, it displayed text as complete gibberish (blocks, random symbols) In the case of a raw FE Gaiden, I think I was able to play it... that or just knowing the commands was enough for me to beat chapter 1 out of boredom with no issues.
