Heck, even some NES sprites are better animated. Some people even said the GBA animations looked realistic which just make me want to go bang my head against a wall. People tend to confuse stylistic choices and animation as well. However, animation is only about movement so things like colors shouldn't even be considered as an argument. Swordmaster criticals and one of Leaf's criticals destroys such a comment for GBA and SNES. Gaiden animations >>> GBA, I believe you said that before and even brought something about the Gaiden animation having more frames or something like that.
