I never said the SNES games were perfect. But GBA also has weapons floating in mi-air (general), hovering horses (paladins), super light weapons (heroes), awkward axe-throw (fighter), among other things... It took me an hour to be able to make it to third gear and shifting gears without constant problems. Every time I stalled it drew me a little closer to the depths of insanity. Ankoku I know you didn't, just throwing that out there as I recall someone in a different thread that Swordmaster animations are too "flashy" and unrealistic followed by someone else mentioning the unmounted knight's crits.
