I woke up because I felt an unknown sharp object... possibly a monstrous bug forcing all of its spines into my ear during the dream. Felt every stabbing pain and woke up glad it was a dream. Kept trying to blow in my nose while plugged up to get it out... and even tried reaching with my hand. And then there's other times where I curse myself for ever waking up because I didn't ever want to. Remembering is a double-edged sword. Nowadays, 90% of my dreams are based off the worst parts of my waking life.
