The "March of the Valkyries" music was what got me, really though, for that part of the story. Anyways, good night. That's not Key's Kanon. Are you thinking of a different game? Edit: The general plot about figure skating and olympics reminds me about Ginban Kaleidoscope, but you left out the ghost of the Canadian airplane pilot, and it's to my knowledge not a VN at all, just animanga. Zak Something Posted July 4, 2012 Share Posted July 4, 2012 I judge whether something is worth translating or not after said content is posted 「そういえばさ」 暴れだしたパティの頭をぐいとおさえて、身を乗り出すようにしてフィーがティニーに笑いかけた。 「ティニーって、どうなの？」 「どう、ですか？」 素直に首をかしげると、フィーの腕の下からパティが軽くしかめた顔をだした。 「誰好きな人いないの、ってこと」 「そういえばティニーさんのそういう話って聞かないわ」 「……」 不意にまわってきた質問に、ティニーは薄く笑った。 「いえ」 一口紅茶を飲んで。 「特には、おりません」 「そうなの？ もったいないなぁ」 うーん、とフィーは腕を組んだ。 「アーサーのやつも厳しいもんね、なんだか。ティニーに男が寄ろうとすると、あいつ、怒るよね」 「そんなこといっちゃって……実はいたりしない？」 パティはすこし残念そうに唇を尖らせた。ここで否定するのは常套句だから、と考えているのだろう。しかしティニーだし、とも。考えているのかもしれない。 「しませんわ」 ティニーは首を振った。 「本当に」 ――ほんとう、なんかじゃないけれど。 こっそりとティニーは心の中でつぶやく。 本当なんかじゃない。じゃないの。好きな人がいるの。誰よりも好きな人。身を焦がして心を焼き尽くして毒に染まってこの身を滅ぼしてもなお思いが残るくらいに。 今までに一度しか顔をあわせたことはない。でもティニーは何度も話に聞いていた。幾多の話を聞いていた。 従姉イシュタルから。盟主セリスから。軍師レヴィンから。そして風の噂で。 どれも違う人の事を表しているようにティニーには思えた。それらの話を寄り合わせただけでは一人の人の姿をうまく作れなかった。 しかしティニーは一度だけまみえたことがある。まみえ、言葉を交わしたことがある。一方的な言葉の応酬ではあったけれど。声をかけられただけ、そうしてその言葉はティニーの頭の上を情けなく通り過ぎて言っただけであっても。 ティニーにとっては唯一で絶対の応酬だった。逢瀬だった。 ティニーとその人との間にはそれだけがあった。それだけしかなかったが、それがあった。 その一度はひょんなことから訪れ、そうしてヒルダの怒りで閉じられた。 ひょんなことというのはイシュタルの気まぐれ。 ヒルダに虐げられていたティニーをどこかかわいそうに思っていたのだろうか、王城に上がるときにふとティニーをつれてゆくことにしたのだとあとでイシュタルは語っていた。 あなたに似た少女を私は知っていてね、とイシュタルは口にした。 その少女のおにいさまに私は仕えていてね。 そして出会った。 ユリウス。炎の化身、邪神の化身。 禍々しくて高貴で残酷で清純で美しくて雄々しく無垢で猛々しい。 一瞬にして心奪われ――何もかもを捧げてしまいたかった。 しかし彼はティニーになんぞは見向きもしなかった。見向きもせず、ただ一度視線を合わせただけ。 ティニーをここにつれてきたイシュタルのため、ティニーを紹介したイシュタルのために、低い声でたったひとこと、つぶやいた。 「そうか」 それからあとはティニーはいないものと扱っていた。ただイシュタルに向かってのみ言葉を発し、行動した。 そしてティニーの前でイシュタルに愛をささやいた。口付けをした。 一度でいいとティニーはずっと思っている。 こんなに強い思いを抱けるのならばあの人との出会いは一度でいい。 それでも恋の力はティニーを貪欲にさせた。 何もかも捧げてしまいたいのに彼はティニーを望まなかった。しかしティニーは彼を望んだ。 フリージに戻りついた後ヒルダの叱咤を受けながらティニーはぼんやりと考えた。私はどうしたらあの人と再び会えるのだろうと。 会ってあの人に私を気づかせるにはどうしたらいいのだろうと。 その答えが今のティニーだった。 一心に身も心も捧げたいと望んだ少女は、彼の敵にまわることにした。 決して私のことを見てくれないのならば私の手で彼を終わりにしたいと思った。 そうすれば最後にユリウスはティニーの事を見るだろう。 もしも失敗に終わっても、それでもユリウスはティニーを見るだろう。ユリウスが残虐なものを好むのをよく知っていた。よく知っていてわかっていた。だからもしもティニーがユリウスの手に落ちたら彼は喜んでティニーをいたぶり殺すだろう。それでもよかった。 フリージの、イシュタルのもとにいれば何も出来ないことがわかっていた。味方ではあっても決して関わることはない。その瞳にティニーが宿ることは決してない。 それであれば敵軍にくだり。 もう一度あの人と会おうと。 ――それがティニーの愛だった。 「いません」 「そうなんだ」 「はい」 その恋は、多分誰にも理解はされない。 だれにも、理解してほしくない。 その恋は、ティニーだけのものだった。なにから、何まで。 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
