I think it's like that in several if not all the BN games. I remember never caring much about story line fights because I can never get Navi chips from them. The same thing happened in BN3 though... Really. Let's look at what in some people's romaji would look like: niwano niwaniwa niwa niwatoriwa niwakani wanio tabeta Does that look fun? How about in kana: にわのにわにはにわにわとりはにわかにわにをたべた。 Still not very fun to try to read... notice all the repeats? But in kanji, it's quite clear: 丹羽の庭には二羽鳥は俄に鰐を食べた。 It means ``Two chickens in Mr. Niwa's garden suddenly ate an alligator.''
